If Jesus existed, cannabis was prevalent around his time and region.
Most High indeed.

Perhaps he does? Here's a song by Bob Rivers (the tune is "What if god was one of us" by Joan Osborne):
If God had long hair, and a goatee
And if His eyes were pretty glazed
If He looked spaced out,
Would you buy his story?
Would you believe He had an eye infection?
And yeah, yeah God looks baked
Yeah, yeah God smells good
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
What if God smoked Cannibis?
Hit the bong like some of us
Drove a tie-dyed micro bus
And he subsribes to Rolling Stone
When God made this place
In the begining, did He plant any seeds?
Or did He put them there for Adam and Eve?
So they'd be hungry for the apple that the snake
Was always offering
And yeah, yeah God rolls great
Yeah, yeah God smells good
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
What if God smoked Cannibis?
Do you suppose He'd have a bust?
When He made the platypus
When He created Earth our home
Does He like Pearl Jam or The Stones?
And do you think He rolls His own?
Up there in Heaven on the throne
And when the Saints go marching home
Maybe He sits and smokes a bowl

First of all, I believe that only God can enhance a spiritual expirience, the plant can only enhance your body's reaction.
It is a hard question. I don't believe that it is anymore harmful than a beer or glass of wine. My husband enjoys a beer everynow and again and I think there is nothing wrong with it. I don't believe that you should get drunk, so as long as if you smoke it and it doesn't alter you mentally than I can't see the problem. One beer for my husband does nothing, so there is no issue. Once you get drunk though, it impares your judgement and can make you sin easier.
The other issue is that God does tell us to follow the laws of our land as long as they don't go against God. So if it is illegal, and you are doing it anyway, that might be another issue all together.

Someone asked this same question yesterday.
Bottom line, the Bible forbids intoxication. Can you smoke weed in moderation such that you do not get completely high?
Also, it appears that you are not supposed to put anything in your body that harms it, so tobacco and fatty foods would seem to be a sin for the same reason.
And it is a sin to do anything illegal.

This whole water into wine argument has been pounded out to the brass tax. Alcohol consumption is not a sin, being a drunkard is a sin. That implies that excess is the sin, not the substance.
As for smoking weed, no God would not approve. He asked us to obey the laws of the land and last time I checked, weed smoking was still illegal.

God created the plants.. for human and animal usage. Therefore, I would say yes He would as long as it was being used for the purpose intended.
Too many righteous religious Christians are the only ones that would say no He would not approve.
The wine was NOT fermented wine... therefore it was not alcoholic at all. It was more like grape juice than alcoholic wine.

Any sort of clean line delineation between right and wrong would be...well wrong because it would depend on context. Coffee, for example, is a drug just like any other, and totally going overboard with it can make you erratic, strung out and irrational. Taken in a smaller dose, however, it makes you alert, focused, and helps your memory and liver. So if someone is in pain (physical or emotional) then how could weed be wrong? It's all about context (IMHO)

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body," (1 Cor. 6:19-20).

The Lord says " Do not be overcome with Drunkeness (the book of John?) Anyhow, I believe that imbibing responsibly is more sensible than smoking weed, or drinking until you pass out. I for one don't drink or smoke. Actually, I had wine twice in my life but only for celebratory purposes.

Jesus does not say that it is bad to drink wine, he says not to drink it too much, cause 1 glass a day of red wine is good for you. So smoking weed is bad

No, God does not approve of things that confuse his voice. The altered state of consciousness destroy your discernment of the source of your thoughts. Everything that comes from outside that alters your body and mind, is a false path. That is why someone who takes a nazarite vow [dedicating his life to God's service] abstains from even eating grapes...
