Knowledge lets us know that we don't know a lot more things than we actually were aware about. So as knowledge grows it makes us realize we are more ignorant?

I am an occultists and I am currently studying Jewish meditation. Well I seem to have come to a road block. The book is telling me to do some thing I am not conferrable with. The task is not hard but I think that if I do the task it will not be me actually wanting to do it.

The task at hand is to do this exercise where I try and draw divine energy from the heavens to empower my soul. I am find with accepting god and all but if I try to bring divine power in to my self I know it will feel like a job rather than some thing in interests me. Kind of like me going in to the old catholic church, it just wont feel right.

Any advice on what to do?

i can do rituals like the middle pillar and LBRP but when it comes to being directly delt with god i just dont feel right. it feels compleetly wrong.

The definition of fascism is (as provided by www.dictionary.com): a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

It is obvious that Christianity in general is not an officiall gonvernment, it's not "agressive". But I am not looking for technicality answers. I am not looking for someone to bone-pick the definition. I deal my answers on religion in abstract thought, as people should. For example, I am not looking for some terribly concrete like "well christianity hasn't been officially established as a government so no". I am looking for abstract, intellegent, thought-about answers that give their opinion on whether or not Christianity is a fascism. All answers, saying yes or no, are very much appreciated. Everyone's opinion is respected.

*Just don't imbue your answer with hostility. That's just immature.*

if it was to prove that those who believe in Jesus shall be raised from death, then where is he now? How old is he? I beielve this was a badly composed fabrication because it cannot stand the test of rationale!

In my early years, 12 to 30 years old, I was an extreme atheist. I read the Bible, the Qur'an, the teachings of Buddha, etc. etc. to prove His non-existence. I became "god" in my thoughts and actions until 6 days before my 36th birthday. I found myself in a self inflicted hell. He called to me, I went to Him and now I know there is a God and I am not Him. This is Not a God of any one religion. He is our Creator. I am now 58 and Love the Life He has given me. Do you have a similar experience or do you just want to keep disproving His existence?

No one is questioning the celebrities that so selfishly spend and show off their expensive homes, yachts, etc.....My beleif is that because these men work for the God, who is considered according to the word King of Kings and Lord of Lords, they can't help but come out on top financially.

I know Jesus talks of Love often, and we are told God loves us because of various things he has done, but has either ever just said I LOVE YOU? Thanks.

I used to read the bible to prove all Christians wrong, to find error, to prove my own ego . I persecuted Christians with the same zealousness that Paul did in the book of acts, I like Paul had my road to Damascus and see now what I never saw when I was blind. So I do not think that if some one quotes something in the bible, to prove a point one way or the other, is wrong. To me, he/she is as I was, and at least they are reading the bible. To me that is a good thing, God will do the rest. I just hope for their sake that their own error will not correct them, I rather see them come to know the truth before that event happens!
