if it was to prove that those who believe in Jesus shall be raised from death, then where is he now? How old is he? I beielve this was a badly composed fabrication because it cannot stand the test of rationale!

The resurrection of Lazarus was a testament to God's power.Lazarus was dead for four days before Jesus arrived.Jesus intentionally waited to raise him.He was doing everything to prove himself that he was the messiah. When he raised Lazarus,he was showing the power of God.

You missed the whole point of why he did it.

It was to show that Jesus can raise the dead. Lazarus did die later and his bone box was discovered burried along with Martha and Mary.

This is a great site about the burrial and deaths of those who knew Jesus personally http://www.geocities.com/FaithInEvidence/evidence.html

One reason that Lazarus was raised from the dead was to show the Jews that Christ was truly God in the flesh. The Jews required signs in order to believe. (I Cor. 1:22). Lazarus undoubtedly died again at some time. I don't think the Bible says what happened to him.
