We sin because we are human. We are born with a sinful nature. However, when we accept Jesus into our hearts, that all changes if we choose to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

you sin everyday...starting with the first thoughts that cross your mind in the morning !! every bad state of mind creates negativity...you can "measure" how bad you think by checking what do the others think about you.every action, word or thought returns to you like a boomerang...if you send good that's what you will receive,if you send bad....you will also receive bad! you suffer for your own actions from these or the previous lifes...and Jesus didn't forgave us for our sins...God did that!! Jesus only sacrificed himself for us, and this sacrifice is not for the future, but for the past sins

Does forgiving prevent it from ever happening again? Jesus paid the eternal price for our sins, which is sepperation from God. No longer do we have to be sepperated from our Creator. He did not take away our ability to sin, our free will and when we do, we are still punished, in this life, but we can still spend eternity with God.
