No one is questioning the celebrities that so selfishly spend and show off their expensive homes, yachts, etc.....My beleif is that because these men work for the God, who is considered according to the word King of Kings and Lord of Lords, they can't help but come out on top financially.

Envy. People feel unfavored.

God has blessed His own throughout the bible. Why can't God bless His own according to His Word today. God is pouring out a blessing we can hardly contain right now.

It is written to give and it will be given back to you. This is for anyone, not just Men of God. People also get rich by deceitful ways and even murders. This $ is stored up for the Righteous purpose of God.

Yes God blesses His own. God is the God of more than enough and plenty left over. This is increase in love, joy, peace, etc...

Also, men of God are born of God. And anyone born of God has already inherited the Kingdom of God, being a child of the King.

check out micheeles web site. It makes me want to praise. I have a different opinion thay she does.

Also, it is written it is more blessed to give than to receive. One has to have (be more blessed) to be able to give (be a blessing to others). When God blesses us, we need to give as the Lord would have us to give.

One of the things God didn't create was money. That's an entirely human invention. And the more money you have, the more self-sufficient you are (at least on the material level), but the less likely you'll be thinking about God's will.

Studies have shown that poor people are proportianately more generous than rich people. Poor people recognize the interdependence of people. Rich people are too preoccupied with protecting their stash. That's the problem, you can never be "too rich" to protect yourself from disaster.

There's also personal power. Successful preachers know how to manage a flock of believers. Some will inspire their followers to do good, effective work in their communities. Too many of them just start the money siphon and let it accumulate. Their money makes them comfortable and their charisma makes them god-substitutes to their followers.

There's an old saying about prophets: they comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable. They usually led uncomfortable lives themselves. The more comfortable you are, the less you are thinking about the afflicted. The prophet Amos warned that if you wish to offer worship, "let justice flow like water". Money has nothing to do with justice. The people that have it don't even see those who don't. Rich preachers cannot hear "the cry of the poor", only the wishes of their major donors.

The reward for doing God's work is not wealth but peace. A preacher who gets rich off "God's work" is a fraud. The "god" he works for is the god of this world, not heaven. The apostle Paul earned his living making tents while he travelled around preaching. How many preachers can claim they perform honest work outside of their preaching?

Why would I wear a $10,000 suit? because I am a show-off.

Why would I drive a $70,000 car? same reason.

Christianity is hard, and is bought with a hard life, discipline, self-denial, and meekness - the opposite of showing off.

Ted Haggard, the famous preacher who was caught having sex with another man while smoking crack has a great quote in one of his earlier books that goes, "Christianity is easy, it's no wonder God blesses us with a lot of money."

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!! How disgusting!

Christianity is NOT easy, and TRUE prophets and now Christians do not make a lot of money.

All of the Apostle's were poor and ended up dying for their faith, except John.

Jesus was also poor.

Grow up... Read your Bible. What you have in this life does not matter, what matters is what you have in the next life!

Brotha, I don't know people hate knew men of God are blessed finacialy, nor do I understand why they feel that Christians shouldn't have things. Maybe the secular world feels that all Christians are poor uneducated insecure people with no back bone, so they make up a God to believe in and they run to him when they need stuff. Little do they know, Christian men and women have to WORK HARD for what hope to aquire in ministry of financialy.

I remember back in the day everyone was hatin on Creflo Dollar, they called him Creflo "get those dollars" because he wore nice siuts, has a really nice house in GA, and a huge church. He's not out here pimpin choir members, he's just blessed, and his church is blessed. He's paid, and if he wants a new Benz and can afford it, why not.

But for real, if our Father God has all power and glory and dominion, then he has the power to bless who he chooses, and the world just has to deal with it.

I agree with your statement, about the celebrities spending their money so selfishly. God anoints those that he has called for his purpose and they have gained the inheritance that god has promised from the beginning of time to give to his holy people. Some people are more rich in spirit than others, some people have more wisdom than others, some people speak in tongues, therefore what I am saying is that the it isn't bad for Gods anointed people to inherit riches as long as they don't forget about God.

I don't think so. If you will remember Jesus said it would be harder for a rich man to get into heaven than to pass a camel through the eye of a needle (sorry, in a hurry but I think that is the expression). There is much said the apostolic books that refers to giving all your money to those in need, etc.

So, I guess its an old stereotype that a religious man should not be wealthy. Personally, I see that as a dated thought.

It is because Jesus said it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven, and one would hope the Men of God would be able to enter heaven.

Some people do not understand why 'all' arent blessed equally... some struggle with being jealous of those who 'have' ... some even catagorize the 'haves' and the 'have nots' and think that people cannot be blessed financially and still be Christians. not all are called to be one way or the other. some use their blessings to bless others. it all comes down to the motive of our hearts and where we place our 'true treasures'...

Dudes like this drive me crazy because it's just a spin on the hell scare tactic to get people to give up money and follow them. No thanks. Hard work is a way to get "financially blessed".

if they come out on top as you put it they should make sure they share it with others. we must be wise with our gifts but also use them to help others. it is wrong for preachers to make money out of soreading the Good news.
