Do you believe this prophecy from Isaiah?
Why? Why not?

Isaiah 21:13-18

An oracle concerning Arabia:

You caravans of Dedanites,
who camp in the thickets of Arabia,
bring water for the thirsty;
you who live in Tema,
bring food for the fugitives.
They flee from the sword,
from the drawn sword,
from the bent bow
and from the heat of battle

This is what the Lord says to me: "Within one year, as a servant bound by contract would count it, all the pomp of Kedar will come to an end. The survivors of the bowmen, the warriors of Kedar, will be few" The Lord, the God of Israel has spoken.

Whew!!! Rough, but found it and keep thinking about it. What are your thoughts?

to children and deny them access to information that conflicts with the bible.
It turns out that more then a few of you answered that this should begin at birth, or at least a very early age. This confuses me, so as a concerned mother that only wants to do the right thing for my children I need to ask another question. Your answers will be much appreciated again.

My new question is this. If I teach only the christian bible to my children and deny them access to anything that conflicts with it's teachings, is there a possibility that they could be stunted both intellectually and psychologically, and have problems adapting to the world as it exists and not as they percieve it from a biased point of view when they reach adulthood?

Most people realize that there is only true God. Throughout history, this one ture God has appointed many good men to tell others about Him so that humans eveywhere may turn away from false gods and worship Him alone. Abraham, Moses and Jesus (peace to be upon them) all spoke about this one God and worshipped Him alone.

In the Gospel According to Matthews, 26:39 (King James Version) we are told that Jesus \\\'fell on his face and prayed\\\' to God. And in the Gospel According to John, 17:3, Jesus declares that the one he prayed to is the only true God. This very God speaks to us in these last days in His final Scripture which He will safeguard from corruption. God announces in His book good news to all those who believe in Him and do right. He says:“ Surely those who say: Our Lord is Allah and afterwards are upright, the angels descend upon them, saying: Fear not nor grieve, but hear good tidings of the Paradise which you are promised. We are your protecting friends in the life of the world and in the Hereafter. There you will have (all) that your souls desire, and there you will have (all) for which you ask. A gift of welcome from the Forgiving, the Merciful” (Quran 47:2). “ Those who believe and do good works and believe in that which is revealed unto Muhammad - and it is the truth from you Lord - He rids them of their ill - deeds and improves their condition. That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood and because those who believe follow the truth from their Lord” (Quran 47:2).

Accept this invitation, therefore, and enjoy a life of peace and satisfaction on earth, then everlasting life in the paradise of God. The true Scripture promises all this to those who choose no other god except the One True God who was worshipped by Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them). The truth has now come to you from your Lord!

Wont you accept it?

I recently visited NYC & stopped in St. Patrick’s cathedral and saw a full-fledged gift shop right near the exit. I could not believe my eyes. I am catholic but do not normally go to church, however, was in complete shock when I saw this gift shop. Is it me or is this greedy? I recall reading something in my younger years about Jesus flipping over a table when people in his village were profiting off religion.

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Catholic Diocese has agreed to pay at least $48 million to people molested by priests... [Associated Press
January 5, 2007 ]
Federal Bankruptcy Judge Gregg W. Zive in Reno, Nev., said the settlement would provide survivors “with some measure of closure and allow them to move forward and continue the healing process.”
The abused Catholics have my heartfelt sympathy for the outrage perpetrated against them by those who represent their church.
Certainly, they are entitled to the church paying any therapy costs to help them achieve closure but in this day when the Catholic church higherarchy closes longstanding but less used churches because of lack of money, why do abused but continuing Catholics sue for so much money from their church?

Ha!!! the best answer was chosen that it will be Islam.
but because i missed the question and it is closed, i wanted to answer that He will Destroy Everything, and everyone will become ashes under his feet. Only the meek and a remnant will be saved. Then in that year, Many of the righteous from all generations will be resurrected.
islam, judaism, christianity, and all other things and people will be destroyed. If you will not live in peace and worship the creator God, you have no other option but to be destroyed.
Ok are there any rebuttles?

I mean whats the pont ? You already believe in the guy. You know he is sovereign over everything . What is gained by allowing people to suffer ? I think we are all just clay . Some people get the blessings and some people get the curse . Nothing is to be gained and all things are for loss.
