You can not forgive yourself until you come to each one of those you offended and ask for their forgiveness.

You say to yourself: I was a fool. I never intended to hurt anyone. I've learned from my mistake. It's okay. There is no going back to change what's done -- at the time you did it, you were a fool, so you acted foolishly, and that's the way it was. You're okay. That was the way you needed to learn this painful lesson. Other fools will hurt you too, and you'll forgive them. Make heartfelt apologies and then get over it, get on with being a better person.

Forgiving ones self is a difficult thing. You see the hurt or pain you caused others and feel guilty about it. If you can't ask the people you hurt for a way to make it right then ask God to show you a way to bring Him glory through the bad situation.

God Bless and help you with your mental well being.

Ask the others to forgive you so you can forgive yourself. Regardless of whether they forgive you or not, at least you asked. Then you can forgive yourself. I am assuming here you did not commit mass murder or something. If you did, forget what I just said.

You can start by asking for forgiveness from those you hurt and from God. Then you learn from your mistakes and this will make you a better person. The bad experiences help shape us too. You can turn this into a positive.

Good luck. May God Bless you.

The same as how God forgives us for being idiots and hurting others

You cannot forgive yourself; that is blasphemy. God forgives and allows us to rest in His infinite peace if we are humble and honest enough to accept it. You will allow yourself to get over your sins of the past when you overcome them through repentance and humility. Eventually we become so conscious of our sin (past and present) and how it hurts others that we despair; even after knowing it is forgiven. Consciousness of sin makes it worse but this also pushes us further away from it---because we know how wrong it is. Consciousness of sin paired with humility is what leads us to the need to rest in God's infinite Love and unchangeableness.

I would start by asking God for forgiveness and wisdom. Then ask the ones you have hurt for forgiveness. Study and read Gods Word the bible to see how we are to treat one another.

"If we confess our sins He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John1:9

I would say not totally an idiot because if you are aware that you have hurt someone you can do something about it. If you have hurt someone you ought to apologize to do so you need to be humble and show empathy. Then you are aware how someone feels. Good luck.
