good question but remember it was men who wrote the bible or at least the version we all know as the bible. KING JAMES, he did not exactly think "highly" of women so maybe that's the reason.

God doesn't like girls. Just read the Bible if you want evidence of this. I get a week-long curse (it used to last nine days before my Ob/Gyn put me on birth control) and terrible acne every month because Eve ate the apple. Because Adam ate the apple men have...work? How is that fair, given that women have always worked just as hard as men, though until recently it was usually at home (and being a house wife isn't easy)?

Answer - God plays favorites. Men are his favorites.

Oh I have been waiting for this one. Because Jesus came to save MEN. Look around, who needs it more!!

Actually it was because the Messiah had to be male, a male was the only one that would be taken seriously, a first born male was SPECIAL. ETC.

Mol: Political Correctness was not included in God's plan for saving ALL humans. Ask yourself this. Why didn't God use dogs, cats, and turtles. From where one sits, is where one stands.

A cursory knowledge of the bible will tell you that god views women as inferior creatures.
