Just curious, is it possible for someone to self exorcise a demon/negative entity? Is there any records of this within any religious writings?

So I was reading something new last night and ran across a small article about a woman named Lillith. Supposedly the first woman who would not submit to Adam and she was banished from Eden. Does anyone have any insight on this person, or personal beliefs? . I am interested in YOUR opinions not a web link.

1-Nahum 3:5-6 Is it appropriate to put such words and descriptions in a "holy" book?
2- And is this appropriate too? Ezekiel 23:20-22
3- Exodus 6:20 compared to Due 27:22, Is incest ok or not?
4-Exodus 35:2 & 21:7-8 Why? I don't care if it doesn't apply anymore, it's SO cruel and obviously doesn't have different 'interpretations'!!
5- Kill animals horribly which 'gores' you? Exodus 21:28-29 Agian I don't care if it doesn't apply anymore, that's so violent

Asking why people often answer questions with scripture instead of presenting the IDEA behind the scripture as a logical answer? I got reported for it twice. I wonder why. It's a valid question and not meant to offend anyone. Maybe it's because it makes a certain someone insecure about themself?

If God is not a man, but Jesus is a man and Jesus is God is God a liar? Which God?

Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

My brother awoke screaming and crying saying that a demon wanted to take him, or something like that. He says he wasn't crying from fright, more of an uncontrollable crying. He's 23, and it's never happened to him before, so what does it mean? I've also had a strange experiece, like my blankets being pulled off.

The only character I can relate to in the Bible is Satan!

Question: What do you think about the idea that God could have forgiven our sins with a snap of His fingers?

Deleted Answer: There is no sin. Sin, hell and satan are man made terms. I will not live my life in fear of an imaginary place created in a book full of hate and bigotry. Nope, I will always think more highly of God and I give Him much more credit. You must think that He is stupid.

Or was it reported because I did not agree? Hmm, tough question huh?

Did God really create Man or did human beings need something to believe in so badly that they created this illusion of an "all-powerful, all-knowing" being?

in a religion where the people dont beleive that God has a body or a gender, and they are trying to say "May God watch over you" but they dont want to say God, because they beleive that God is just a "Life Force"

so they want to imply that it is More than just another God, that it is the Almighty Force that everything is connected to, you are saying may God watch over you, but you want to say something that would imply that it is a force.

What would you say???

Thanks for your help!

I went to a First Baptist school when I was young and the only real thing I got out of it was that they didn't make a big deal about the trinity (they did believe Jesus was the son of God though). They taught us that you didn't have to go to church every Sunday to go to heaven, you just had to believe in God and live a good life. The silly things they believed was the idea that dancing was unnatural and against God, and they were against Halloween. They didn't tell us it was evil on a daily basis, they just never had school dances or had Halloween decorations like some Christians schools did. (which always confused me as a kid)

Anyways, one day in college class I was talking to a girl who was the daughter of a preacher. I told her I went to a Baptist school when younger and she made a god awful face at me like I said I worshipped the devil. Then I said "First Baptist though" and she said "Ooooh" and look relieved.
So is there a big difference between the two?

Lets say hypothetically I have the Ark Of The Covenant. You know that thing that the Jews had. It was brought down by Moses with the Ten Commandments in it. Then later in history it got lost, and no one has seen it since. Indiana Jones found it in Raiders Of The Lost Ark. But lets say I ACTUALLY have it. How much should I sell it for ? I won't put up with any government, or religion saying it's their property, and thus I should hand it over to them. I can prove I have it, but they only get it for the "ransom" they would need to pay. I'm thinking $500 million. Is that too high....or too low. And remember this is only hypothetical....I assure you.

Then with which hand should we hold our johnson while urinating? Isn't it unsanitary to use either. If you use your left you will dirty your johnson and if you use your right you will be exposing yourself to all of the germs and herpes from the guy you just shook hands with.

What is the solution? How do we keep the pee-pee clean?

Why didn't God give the pee-pee a musculo-skeletal system so we wouldn't have to manually direct it and get germs on it?

Or should we just make sure we wash our hands before and after?
