Lets say hypothetically I have the Ark Of The Covenant. You know that thing that the Jews had. It was brought down by Moses with the Ten Commandments in it. Then later in history it got lost, and no one has seen it since. Indiana Jones found it in Raiders Of The Lost Ark. But lets say I ACTUALLY have it. How much should I sell it for ? I won't put up with any government, or religion saying it's their property, and thus I should hand it over to them. I can prove I have it, but they only get it for the "ransom" they would need to pay. I'm thinking $500 million. Is that too high....or too low. And remember this is only hypothetical....I assure you.

What are you trying to say kentchatham ? That because the Ark wasn't on the mountain with Moses it's worth less than if it was ? It sounds like to me your just trying to drive down the price. I don't think the Ark would be worth any less. Am I wrong about that ? Please help me determine the price. And please don't low ball me !

Perhaps you need to do more careful research.

You say: "You know that thing that the Jews had. It was brought down by Moses with the Ten Commandments in it.?

Doesn't Torah say that Moses brought the Tablets (with the 10 Commandments) down from the Mountain and then, later, put them in the Ark of the Covenant, along with the pot of Manna and Aaron's rod that budded.

Where, in your Bible, does it say that the Ark of the Covenant was on the Mountain with Moses?

Since God's Spirit no longer resides with it, it is just a hunk of wood and metal. That was demonstrated when the great curtain tore open for all to see that his Spirit was no longer in the Temple or with the Jews. Prior to that, just to see the Ark meant instant death. Since you're alive, than it must still be powerless. Melt it down for the Gold, otherwise it will just become another idolic symbol.

Considering that which sits on the top of the Ark is the "mercy seat of God", I know how much it's worth, the death of His son, Jeshua.

if the powers attributed to the Ark are true, then no amount of money would be sufficient.
