I've been watching these Christian Just-War folks and the Muslim Jihadists for a while now and starting thinking about something. If these two factions finally get going at each other, will the Pagans and Athiests inherit the earth? Think about it a little... If the fanatical Christian groups and the nutty Jihadist do each other in. Who is going to be left to run the world? I'm thinking of pulling me out a good chair and just watching the two go at it. I'm also considering starting a pool with some Pagan friends and taking bets on the two sides. Maybe the Buddhists, Hindus, Pagans, and Athiests should start planning on what we're all going to do when the Just-War people the Jihadist wipe each other off the earth. What do you think?

I was raised Christian, but I find the ignorance and hatred of the born-agains to be pushing me away from the religion completely. I realise that they are acting exactly like the muslims they hate.

Does anyone else feel this way?

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

Surely, those who believe and the Jews and the Christians and the Sabians - whichever party from among these truly believes in God and the Last Day and does good deeds, shall have their reward with their Lord, and no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve.

Seriously and this has probably been asked before but why is it OK to put down and question the Muslim faith. Yet the slightest hint of a sharp remark or question about the christian faith is removed or not posted?

Is Bush making Americans look even more stupid then they already do?
Due to pressure from Bush Administration officials, the National Park
Service is not permitted to give an official age for the Grand Canyon.
Additionally, a book claiming the Grand Canyon was created by Noah's
flood is for sale at the National Park's bookstore.

The sale of Grand Canyon: A Different View was scheduled for review
over three years ago, but no such review has been scheduled or even
requested. The creationist book was the only item approved for sale in
2003 (22 other items were rejected).

for fear of offending Creationists...

This comes as no surprise. The Bush administration has been opposed to
other sciences, such as meteorology, biology, medicine and so on, and
has made policy decisions based on the administration's apparent fear
or disdain

O God! I endeavour to draw myself nigh to Thee through Thy invocation

And grant me that I should be grateful to Thee and inspire me to remember and to invoke Thee

To treat me with clemency and mercy, and to make me pleased and contented with what Thou hast allotted to me
And cause me to be modest and unassuming in all circumstances

First of all, I'm not trying to provoke. I would like your honest opinion on a verse. This question is for anyone that will answer honestly and politely.

Consider a verse wherein God commanded the death of innocent children. I would like to know if you think:

1) The prophet Samuel was lying - God didn't really want this.
2) The Bible is wrong - God didn't really want this.
3) Both the are correct - God wanted these infants put to death.

If you are a Christian, and if you chose #3, I would like to know whether or not this behavior bothers you and why you follow this god. Thank you.

The verse in question:
1 Samuel 15:2-3

This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt.

Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.' "

This spell was given to me several years ago and I've misplaced it. It's a spell to help find a perfect job. It involves writing a description of the perfect job, raising energy and then folding the paper. I can't remeber the details though, whether the paper gets burned or just tied up or whatever... it's a great spell worked very well when altered to find the perfect house for us, but now I need a job to keep the house. HA HA HA.
The lady that gave it to me said that she believed it was orginally a Silver Ravenwolf spell but I've looked through a few books and online and cannot find it. Maybe I'm not supposed to.... but I thought I'd give this last avenue a try.

Since it is scientific fact that you can not create life from non life, where did the very first life come from? If you think aliens, same question, where did their first life form come from. If we evolved from something you should be able to trace it to a first.

22Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

Jesus(pbuh) was a MAN approved by God. If Jesus is God, did God approve of God? I thought God was supposed to be in Jesus not in the sky.
Take a look:
Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
So God is not a man, and never will be a man. Jesus had limits, did not know the unseen, and even cried like a man. God crying like a man?

What will be your best excuse for why you didnt accept Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour?

The excuse "scientist couldnt prove you" wont be a good excuse;so you'll need to come up with something else. And everybody, yes EVERYBODY will have a chance to accept Christ.

Romans 1:20-For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Luke 12:48-But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

What's your best excuse?
