This spell was given to me several years ago and I've misplaced it. It's a spell to help find a perfect job. It involves writing a description of the perfect job, raising energy and then folding the paper. I can't remeber the details though, whether the paper gets burned or just tied up or whatever... it's a great spell worked very well when altered to find the perfect house for us, but now I need a job to keep the house. HA HA HA.
The lady that gave it to me said that she believed it was orginally a Silver Ravenwolf spell but I've looked through a few books and online and cannot find it. Maybe I'm not supposed to.... but I thought I'd give this last avenue a try.

Hi everyone.
To those of you that spill your hate for spell casting and Wicca... Whatever, I have no room or energy in my life for such negativity. My sincerest hope for you is that whatever you believe in finds you peace and happiness but all the speeches in the world will not change what my heart knows is my truth.
To the others, thank you all for the words of encouragement, I actually only used the skeleton of the spell for the "perfect house' and wanted a refresher for altering again to find my "perfect job" I know SRW is not liked by many of those in our community and to each his/her own. Her books sparked my interest but Scott Cunningham's showed me the true light so I feel it is only proper to give her credit for that initial spark. I am certainly not a devout SRW Follower.
I would still be interested if anyone knows the orginal but will most likely go with the consensus of forging ahead on my own.
Thanks again!

It makes sense that you wouldn't burn it til after you get the job... but that's just me. Do what makes sense to you. The magic comes from YOU. Not Silver Ravenwolf.
SRW doesn't have the best reputation these days, but even she will tell you, you have to do some footwork. Fill out lots of applications and hand out lots of resumes. They can't hire you if they don't know who you are or how to find you.
Good Luck!

a great number of stable solutions already, Phoenix particularly plenty nailed it and provided an dazzling record of hyperlinks that supply you an extremely stable run down of what precisely is erroneous with Ravenwolf's books. permit me positioned it this style, Silver Ravenwolf's books have been the 1st one's to get pulled off my bookshelf and filed interior the back of my closet while i began out to expire of area. and that i think of her incompetence would be summed up via something she says in To experience a Silver Broomstick. In her talk of approaches while she says: "The athame represents mind, i do no longer use mine plenty." There are different authors merely as undesirable as Silver - undesirable historic past, undesirable good judgment, questionable ethics, a want to water each and every thing all the way down to meaninglessness.... she's merely extra prolific than maximum which attracts a great number of ire from those human beings who're severe approximately our faith and don't want to work out it misrepresented.

Like most others, I agree it's best to write your own and I'm not a fan of SRW.

It sounds as if you have enough of the bones of the spell to work with. Personally, I like to burn such things when I write them---but that's a personal preference.

A simple ritual that I've found has worked is to charge a small bottle of oil or perfume with your intentions and then everyday before starting your search, apply the oil with a short chant.
Good luck!

Well, sweetie, add me to the write your own and total non-fan of SRW group. I think she's at the very least in it for the money, and at worst, a fraud.

Here are some tips for you:

green candle, carved with Fehu for prosperity
written description of what you want
Do your work on a Sunday or Thursday

Once you've created the spell and done your work, it's then up to you to start making it happen. Go to places like Careerbuilder.com and Monster.com and start putting out your resume's for every job that suits your qualifications and requirements.

Many blessings to you on your job search..

You are better off doing a spell your own way, writing it yourself. It is not necessarily how the spell is done that makes it work, it is your intent...your will, that makes it work.

I have numerous books but I don't use any of the spells in them. I only use them for reference when it comes to color, herb, crystal corrospondences and things like that. I then, take the information I got and use it to select the items I need, (if I even bother to use items at all) and I do the spell my own way. It works better that way. Doing a spell your way, with your own effort and intent put into it, makes the spell that much more effective, because you made it. Rather than using one that was written out for you. You might want to try it this way. You might be pleasantly surprised will the results (not to mention quite proud of yourself for doing it all yourself too. It's quite satisfying.)

I don't know the spell you're talking about, but it sounds to me like a spell you would burn, instead of tying it up and keeping it. At least, in my personal experience, I've gotten results quicker when I write my intentions, perform the ritual and burn the paper than I have when I simply lock the paper in a box (or what-have-you). You may want to go with what you can remember and then improvise. That way your intention will be stronger, since half of it will be "made up" as you go along. Spells you write yourself are bound to be stronger anyway, and as long as you believe it will work, it will.

Quite annoying that you've got three thumbs down for this question, though I shouldn't be surprised.

Good luck!

try this one. desired results instead o focusing on a specific job, like housekeeping or manager or software, think about what you want from a job.
time: what hours do you want? Must you have weekdays, or will any time do? Do you want a part-time or full-time?
Money: how much do you want to make?
Benefits: How important are health and and retirement benefits to you? is this a higher priority than schedule or money?
Autonomy: Do you want a job where you work by yourself, a job with other ppl in a team, one where your manager supports you.
other needs: some ppl love to travel, some provide a car. some provide dental or legal advice.
list each of your desired results in priority order to generate your statement of intent for example.
" a job that makes a lot of money, with a lot of autonomy, good benefits, and travel." i have others as well if you need them.

Why don't you try an occult shop? The people that work in those stores are usually well informed in those types of questions. You can even go to the groups section of yahoo and find a group that is into that kind of stuff and ask your question. And by the way what you said about the job for the house was pretty funny! HA HA HA

Just write your own. Describe the job you need in detail write it down do some afffirmations then fold and burn the paper with positive affirmations. The speed and effiency with which the paper burns is an omen on how quickly the spell wil materialize.

Try rifling through her books at a store. Though, I personally never liked her stuff. Too much fluff in my opinion.

You might also want to brush up on your interview skills. That can make or break your job potential. Since I'm sure you're looking for a job and all. Good luck.
