while yahoo should take some blame for being facists. It is also the fault of the individual nazis who report everything that they don't agree with.

No the constitution only applies to the federal govenrment. It was done this way on purpose, the founding fathers wanted rules that applied to the govenment, but still wanted to encourage free enterprise. If the constitution governed private etnteties and individuals rather than the govenment, we would not have free enterprise.

The government cannot punish us because we express our opinions, they cannot dictate which religion we belong too. Yahoo Answers can do whatever they want, according to the constitution.

There may be other laws that govern this kind of forum, but not the constitution.

People misinterpret the First Amendment all the time to mean "I can say whatever I want, and there will be no consequences." It doesn't mean that.

The First Amendment states, "Congress shall pass no law prohibiting the freedom of speech." In other words, the U.S. government can't arrest you for saying your opinions.

So, to answer your question, no, because the Yahoo staff is not the U.S. government.

If you mean #1 then yes. People have the right to speak their mind, but they also can be held accountable for their actions/words.
However on YA, I agree with JP. You agreed to their boundaries.

If you mean re: Church/state than, no. That teaches that government shall not enforce a religion/ estabilish a state religion. YA is not a governmental organization.

Yahoo offers this service under the requirement that you agree to their guidelines and whatever rules they hand down. Private property (like this website) can be censored as much as the owners choose.

Nope. It only protects "public" speech. Yahoo Answers is a private site and has the right to limit speech as it sees fit.

First off no.... Yahoo isnt the US especially since its not only the US that uses the site. It has terms of use, if we dont follow them we get deleted. Also, they do NOT read any of the questions so if a question doesnt get posted its only a server glitch. And if a question gets flagged by anyone for any reason, it just gets deleted. It's automatic.

No. They own this site and you use it as a service. But if you want to say something that is censored here, just scream it out your window or hand out leaflets at the grocery store. No one can prevent you from doing that.

Yahoo isn't the Government / state.

But as freedom of expression is in yahoo, one must consider the right for peaceable assembly. (Not threatening others.) Yahoo asks us to report if people are threatening others (unpeaceful) well being.

Yahoo is not a Govt. agency. They can do whatever they want. does it mean they should? No. but will they? yes. I used to run a forum website, and never censored anything. trhe idea that ppl have this inalienable right to NOT be offended seems absurd to me. Everyone is offended by something.
