This is a follow up question to my previous question. And, btw., to those who turned my previous question into an attack on me, it was the famous English philosopher, John Lock who said that atheists couldn't be trusted.

Try to interpret it? Seriously, Its not my business if you are a believer or not, but why bother trying to interpret something you think it so "stooopid" as most of you say?

Or, does atheists have any reason not to lie, cheat and steal if they think there is no way anyone will catch them?

My youngest daughter spent time going through our DVD's, she put them in a binder and alphabetized them. It wasn't necessarily the gift, although it was really a nice present - it was the time and effort she spent making something so thoughtful. My Son-in-law gave the blessing at Christmas dinner - it made us all cry it was so beautiful. My grandsons smiles were worth more than gold! My eldest daughter made us all so welcome in her home. My husband and I did not exchange gifts - we just shared the day. It was one of the best Christmas Days we have ever had.

I have just finished reading Armageddon. I am now going to start reading from the beginning of the series. I am not a very religious person and whilst finding the book to contain the cliched Christian moral values and how much better they are over not only non believers but also of other faiths, I find the ideal that someone has taken the idea of revelation and turned it into a fictional series an interesting idea.

What do other people think of these books?

My sister inlaw and husband just became Jehova witnesses. They went out and bought christmas presents for their grand children. Now what kind of Jehova witness is that when they are not supposte to celebrate anything, and I mean nothing is celebrated. Is that what they call a Jack Jehova witness? Like they call the Mormans Jack Mormans if they do not follow the teachings of the church.

I was both disgusted and annoyed that on xmas day morning radio 5 devoted a large portion of there morning prog to yet another debate on the rights & wrongs of muslim women wearing vails.THIS WAS CHRISTMAS DAY. A christian festival not yet more time to be bloody brainwashed with yet more muslim crap. I am not raciest but I do admit I find it hard to trust or respect muslims. Radio 5 you were bang out of order to spout yet more muslim properganda on such a day. We are a Christian country. Christams day is a christian festival/celebration. Radio 5 planners hang your heads in shame.

OK so mary was a virgin and gave birth to Jesus? How many times has that been historicly recorded, except for Mary? Have you ever heard of another immaculent conception? Also have you ever seen global evidence of a global flood?? Niether have the geologists.. I'm not telling yuo to disbelieve in your religion, but please use your common sense! I believe there was a man named Jesus who was crucified for his beliefs, Just as I'm about get figuritively crucified by the religous, with thier rants. Just please use your head, not everthing in the bible was "written" by god, just imperfect ppl tryng to make the world a better place by using stories to scare us into submission. I geuss what I am ultimately trying to say is use your head! Yes I was born into a christian family, I was preached to thoroghly by my mom, and preachers, I was brought up in a strict christian household, but I learned how to think for myself. Maybe you should to..

Question Details: 1. There is a god. (How do you know?) 2. I read this in a book. ( How do you know the book is true?) 3. The book was written by God.(How do you know?) The repetition- 1. There is a god. (How do you know?) 2. I read this in a book. ( How do you know the book is true?) 3. The book was written by God.(How do you know?) The repetition 1. There is a god. The book was written by God.(How do you know?) etc There is nothing more to it, except the rest is political manipulation for purposes of crowd control. A lot of people have grown rich and powerful from this simple form of mind control. Its seems the human mind is extremely fradgile and very easy to stunt and control. How do we help our fellow human beings who have fallen into this trap? We need them all on board now, unlike the predictions of their book, the seas are raising not falling, Globel warming is upon us and there is no big man to save us

I usually be a singer in the church, but not this year. Somehow, I feel... empty. I don't know, but Christmas this year seems so meaningless for me. What's wrong with me actually? What should I do to overcome this feeling?

Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday....

This voice sounds like a conscience speaking in answer to a problem already known by the owner. This could doubt the thery of God's existence.
