I'm from the US... I guess I'd have to choose Spain - I hear the weather is nice there.

I live in the United States. If I could move to another country, I would live in Canada. I'm a big hockey fan!

I'm in the US and I'd go to Canada. They have a democratic (for the most part) government and are free. The Arab nations are not free and women are second class citizens. Shoot they cant even drive-good grief! Can they own property? I've spoken to women who lived in Saudi Arabia for a time and they hated it.
Oh and freedom of religion is good. I wouldn't want to be beaten to death for believing that Jesus is the Christ.

Hmmm....
The UK - specifically Wales or Scotland - or Ireland. My family heritage is largely Celtic with a sprinkling of German and a dash of Dutch, so I'd really love to live in the "homeland" and study the Celtic languages. They're not easy to learn from a book, given how different they are from English. If I had pick a country that spoke another language, France or Germany, since I've studied both languages and they'd be easy.
Though my boyfriend is a quarter Italian, and if he wanted to move to Italy I wouldn't put up too much of a fight.
I'm American.

Aaah, idyllic Saudi Arabia. No alcohol, misogyny and punitive mutilation daily.

Right now I'm living in Togo, I can't wait to go back to any country with running water, electricity, and Chinese restaurants. I suppose if I went to France I could improve my French.

I currently live in the southeast United States, and if I didn't (or for some reason couldn't) live here, I'd want to live in Canada.
