(How do you know?) 2. I read this in a book. ( How do you know the book is true?) 3. The book was written by God.(How do you know?) etc There is nothing more to it, except the rest is political manipulation for purposes of crowd control. A lot of people have grown rich and powerful from this simple form of mind control. Its seems the human mind is extremely fradgile and very easy to stunt and control. How do we help our fellow human beings who have fallen into this trap? We need them all on board now, unlike the predictions of their book, the seas are raising not falling, Globel warming is upon us and there is no big man to save us

Well, I "m a Christian and whereas I may not agree with your philosophical take on God, I'll defend to the death your RIGHT to say it.
It's so ironical that in this country that we all love so dearly, the Land of the Free, where free speech is prized above all other liberties, that the moment someone voices an opinion that is askew from the mainstream point of view they fall under attack.

This is America! Hundreds of thousands of people, our forefathers have paid the ultimate price to ensure that we can express ourselves without retaliation or retribution.
But, here we are in the 2nd millennium being ever so careful not to offend anyone. We now have to be "politically correct", lest anything be misconstrued as hate speech.

I'm a Christian, but if you don't believe or want to question my God's existence---so be it. I am not offended and I am not concerned--why?
Because my faith and my belief systems are unshakable--my foundation is solid and I cannot be moved.

The person that reported you cannot make these claims. This is something for fellow Christians to pray for--the increasing of faith.

What has happened to this country?

Katusha, its a matter of how you believe. If you believe that you are the start and finish of your world, then ANY religion won't help you. You might try the Scientologists, but off hand I can't think of any organized faith system that you could subscribe to.

On the other hand, the evidence is convincing to me that this ancient book of thoughts has been proven to be true in peculiarly strange ways through archeology. So if it is true in the tiny ways, would not the greater assertions be true if the small ones are proveable? The Judeo_Christian culture does not demand that you believe it, merely that it is. You cannot perceive atoms or germs, but you are affected by them. We know that they exist even though we cannot see them, so why is it so hard to believe in them and not in a god?

The Bible says that there was a beginning. If the Big Bang theory is a beginning, something had to start the fuse...there is some kind of a beginning. How do you reconcile a beginning?

I don't know why you would receive a violation for this question as I have seen those that were a lot more inflammatory.
But to get to your assessment I must say that I don't agree with you.
I can not believe that my being here is simply an accident of nature. I can not believe that the order we witness in nature could come about any other way than through design.
As far as the accuracy of the Bible, everyday there are archaeological digs going on in the Middle East that substantiate the writings of the Old Testament.
I may not agree but I respect your right to hold that opinion.
I just pray that you will, over time, reconsider.

You probably got a violation notice because you offended a lot of people. I do not think you should believe in God just because some Christian tells you to, but that does not give you a right to blame them for the world's problems. You really think that religion causes global warming? You think that human nature would change if people did not believe in God? You are correct that religion has often been manipulated to control crowds, but so has nationalism, patriotism, and even science. People who are in power will use anything they can to hold onto that power. That is not the fault of religion. That is the fault of greed and selfishness, two things that would exist regardless of religion. Whatever your beliefs may be, think about how you would feel if you were unrightfully blamed for the problems of the world? That is why you got tagged like you did. You stereotyped a group of people, and they did not appreciate it. If you want to change the world and make it a better place, you need to embrace other people and their culture and beliefs. That is how you get them on board with you, not by placing unwarranted blame on them.

I don't know why you received a violation notice. I am a Christian and I think that it is a fair question. How are we to help you see the confusion the Devil is causing in you if we cannot be privy to your mindset.
How do you know that George Washington existed and was the first president of the United States? People with first hand knowlege wrote things down. If there are contradictory accounts how do you know whose perspective to believe?
You look for the closest eye witness accounts, balance them against eachother, there will be different perspectives but all in all the information will be similar. These are the accounts you take to be accurate.
The bible is a compilation of eye witness accounts. I put my faith very strongly in their accuracy. Therefore since they tell me much about God I now know and understand that the Bible is His Living Word. You will understand this after He has spoken specifically through it straight to you.

1) Global warming is a myth. For a piece of fiction that may get you into the real scientific works and research done by true scientists, see Michael Chrichton's "State of Fear". That's not to say that we're not screwing up the planet. But the planet has been warming up for thousands of years now. Seas have been rising for eons, and massive pieces of the Artic regions have been sliding off into the oceans for quite some time.

2) I wouldn't have reported you for that question, but you seem to think this site is a place to have and start arguments. The moderators tend to disagree. Though they can't get to every one, when they can, they tend to delete argumentative posts such as that.

Your path goes off after #2...there is much in the Bible that has been proven. For many people these evidences are enough to say that yes, there is a God. The rest of your question is inflammatory and without substance. A simple course on human nature would show you it doesn't take a religion to make people rich and control people. Your universe is very narrow. Also, I would like to know the chapter and verse that predicts the seas falling else you bear false witness. Man made global warming...the Bible says man does screwed up things. God's sacrifice saves our souls from eternal death, it doesn't save mankind from mankind's error.

How do I kn ow there is a God... He has left His fingerprint on life.. What is that you say.. I call it chirality. Chirality Is required to build the proteins at are fundamental to life. Chirality is required to build the strings of DNA that are required to life to exist. Chirality is impossible to just happen without some outside control it would never happen... Try it for yourself. Cut a piece of paper into 64 scraps. each with a small red mark on one side. Shake them up in a hat or a bowl and toss them onto the floor. Did they all come up with the mark showing? NO... That's only 64 pieces of paper.. now think of that with the hundreds of thousands of combination of DNA... Life had NO WAY to begin in some sort of primordial ooze. It didn't work in 1953 when science proclaimed they had made life in a test tube and it didn't just happen in an ancient.. sea.. Life without the power of God is a lie.... Jim

I don't see any problem except over all it seems you made a statement and not a question. This doesn't even end with a ? mark. They are getting tougher on what they call spam which is making statements instead of questions. I am a Christian but see no reason for something like this to be reported.

I'm not christian(i'm Muslim) but I think this is not an abuse you should be free to question any divine book and who ever has a problem with that is probably missled. Because i think strugle for power did influence the Books. But let me tell you that I believe that their is a source to everything and that source is what I call God.
