Round and round we go, where we stop, nobody knows! Fact is that all different kinds of people push their beliefs on one another. Christians push their beliefs on atheists, and they push back. It is a vicious cycle. If you live in the United States, however, no one is "forcing" it on you. You choose to hear what you want to hear, and ignore what you want to ignore. If you want to avoid Atheists pushing their beliefs on you, then avoid them! Asking questions like this in an open forum certainly isn't going to help. That's like jumping into a bonfire and complaining that you're getting burned.

You've been brainwashed by your own religion. It's okay, always happens to the weak minded. No shame in that. Christianity is the only religion who imposes their beliefs on others because they truly believe that those who doesn't believe in their god will burn in hell. Those who resist will not be tolerated. What kind of "peaceful" religion is that? And, I don't know where you're getting this from, but no atheist will ever impose their non-belief on you; we just shove it in your face to show you how hypocritical you people really are.

Oh, and to the guy below me, can you prove that there is a god yourself? You can't exactly prove it with some fairy tale book, now can you? By that logic, Goldilocks and the Three Bears is a historic fact. Where's your scientific proof?

You believe by faith there is no God, but you can't prove it. And that means you have a faith-based belief, and that makes atheism a religion. A religion you can't prove.
