Why two though? Can't you just put however much you want in one walk through?
Is it to better help them separate their "Christmas funds"?

because religion is nothing but a business and those church owning bastards are feeding off people stupididty in going to church, using you ignorant people to pay for their cadillacs, upscale housing, new clothes, internet porn sites, and booze.

My church always has two collections. One is the normal collection that is split between chruch needs, debt, school and payroll. The second goes towards the debt reduction solely. Most churches borrow money from their diocease and have to pay it back. It's not easy to raise a million dollars when the parish only gives $1 bills each collection a week.

There wasn't at my church, and I'm Catholic. The second one was probably for the poor and needy. Sometimes my church takes up a second collection for the food shelf. It was probably something like that. Usually, they announce what it will be for before they take it up.

Hey, the man has to get paid!!! The catholic church is the biggest rip off in history. Maybe some of the funds will actually be paid to the children who were raped by those horny priests.
