I asked for someone to please explain what "Jesus died for our sins" a few hours ago. Here are some responces:

Without the shedding of blood there can be no forgiveness of sin.

Before God came in Christ Jesus to walk here with man for the last time on this earth... the only way to put off sin was to make an animal sacrifice.... the blood was payment of the sin debt...Jesus The Christ was both fully God and fully man... The mortal flesh was sacrificed on The Cross and The Blood was the final Sacrifice for all of mankind... it paid the sin debt of all, past present and future...

All who will come to God as He prescribes will be seen by God to be covered by The Blood of Christ...
God will see no sin in them...

Do I understand God sanctions 'blood letting' for his sake? Really? Am I reading this stuff right? Sacrificing an animal was no longer good enough - so it had to be a person? No wonder I never understood or caught on to that train of thought. It is perverted.

Do you think the following Christians are or were idiots?

William Sloane Coffin
Dag Hammarskjold
Soren Kierkegaard
Martin Luther King, Jr.
C.S. Lewis
J.R.R. Tolkien
Desmond Tutu

I'm an atheist, but I've learned a lot for these people, who have remained Christian.

Should I have ignored them?

Shouldn't meditation, spell casting, satanic rituals, and other practices of other religions be allowed as well. It would only be fair.

He creates man then kills him in a flood because man didn't listen.

He plays favorites.

He rewards his greatest prophet by not letting him into the promised land (all over a rock).

He displays jealousy in more then several occasions.

He loves us but will not intercede on our behalf.

He allows his greatest worshiper Job to be screwed with by his arch-nemesis.

he claims omnipotence but with the state of the world how can he also be seen as loving.

We are all god's children yet most of us are going to hell.

And the best you can come up with is "it is not for us to understand."

Listen even if I believed in a God I wouldn't follow yours not with that resume'. And the Jesus thing, what was that his way of saying I'm sorry for that whole 40 years in the desert?

Replace the father's name with your dad's name and see if you would feel the same way about the decisions he's made on our "behalf."

Why do you follow him again. oh yeah! The fear tactic of Hell.

It is optional for me to log on to this website. It is also optional for you to do so. So if I choose to go to the Religion and Spirituality category to talk about my christian beliefs, do you unbelievers feel as though I am forcing my beliefs onto you? If so, why? As long as I am not abusive to others I should not be described as ramming my faith down someone's throat. Is it possible that some of you are overly defensive? If a christian did something wrong to you in the past, does that justify you treating me the same way?

Religion and Spirituality is the reason we are reading and answering these questions, but what we get from this is hate and judgement of a whole because of an individual. How can we help the world to understand that we are all so special in our uniqueness, yet we are all so human?

Even if this designer is, was, and ever shall be, this still shows that complex things (like a designer) are possible without the intervention of a designer. Right?

If you say wrong, please explain.

I currently want to ask out one this girl, who is Mormon, at my highschool yet I don't know if I should know anything important religious wise about her. I do know that Mormons are to refrain from intamacy until marraige but I don't really know where the line is to be drawn. Like is holding hands okay? Is a freindly kiss fine? I just need a general guide line to the LDS's views on dating and relationships. I really like this girl and don't want do something considered inapropriot and cause distress to her or her family.

When I was younger I would hear a lot about the end of the world, the "beast", monsters coming out of the water, and humans finally blowing the world up over who will be ruler of all. I would hear a lot about how Christ was coming back and about the Rapture. All this stuff would interest me, but I would think, "Nah, it probably won't happen for a long time". "I can enjoy life by partying and living how I wanted knowing that God would not send me to hell because he is a loving God.

I came to know Christ about the age of 15. I was excited and felt good, I would take my bible to school (Eagle Alternative). People would ridicule me but I didn't care. A few years later I fell from grace, I walked in darkness. I did things that until today I still have a hard time trying to forgive myself for. Up until a few months ago, I could hear God calling me to come back home. I have felt a thirst that could not be quenched. Jesus said that when He calls His "sheep" they hear His voice and recognize His voice. I have heard Him. And I'm glad I did!

Let me ask you something, Do you believe that there is a coming end to this world? Well, let me tell you that the end is not an event that will happen one day out of nowhere. And not something that is still to come sometime in the future. No, it is something that is happening now as you read this! Have you heard about "global warming"? That is caused mostly from power plants. Secular scientist are warning us that within 50 more years, that more than half of all living creatures, will be extinct! They're telling us that if we don't slow it down, the glaciers that are melting now will cause massive floods that will devastate the US. Green Land is melting at record speeds, which will in turn cause even more disastrous events. Keep in mind, we are only talking about global warming.

The bible tells us that in the last days there will be wars and rumors of wars, (Iraq, Vietnam, WW 1&2) famines, (Africa) earthquakes in various places, (there has been more earthquakes in the last few hundred years than it has ever before, according to "experts"). God said that upon his return "The earth will shake".

I will tell you a truth, we have more reason to believe that Christ will return in our generation, that any generation before us! Do you know why? Well, my friends, one very specific reason which is a prophecy from Mathew 24, it says that when you see the "Fig Tree" put forth leaves you know that summer is near, even so when you see these things, know that it is near , at the door. So what does that mean anyway? Well, in the old testament, "Fig Tree" is used a few times to symbolize the state of Israel (Jerusalem). "Put forth leaves" means that is becoming "alive". Did you know that the state of Israel became known as a state recently in 1948 ish? It has been abandoned for over 2000 years since it was destroyed in 70 AD!

That is just one reason, one prophecy, that lets us know, we are living in the very last days.

My purpose for this "Blog" is to warn everyone of the reality of what is going on. We have become a generation that cares about nothing more than partying, looking good this weekend, hooking up, blinging, representing your set, and just crap that does nothing more than to lead you to Death! Which is the enemy's plan in the first place. Join me on this journey as we see biblical prophecy become a reality right before our very eyes!

God Bless.
