Probably not as i would imagine as if anything did land on earth or be discovered (usa is the worlds leading space explorationists & bible bashers) it would quickly be dismissed as religion has the control over most countries to keep them in fear at a certain level.

I have posted a question about the New Age movement, and YES I am just as ticked off as many of you are. As a matter of fact, I wish the movement never existed to begin with since it is a synthesis of Wycca, the old Celtic pantheon, into which is now the religion of Marin -- MY RELIGION! As a Unitarian, I feel that both my religious beleifs and my civil rights have been stripped. Whoever started the movement is going to pay for this, because it nearly cost me my own marriage. And you better believe my wife is just as angry as I am. How would you feel if your religion was infringed because of its advantages. First Hinduism was ripped off, then Rastafaria, then Islam and now Marin! I feel like crying an ocean of tears. I appreciate any viewpoints you may offer for my question. Thank you, and may Gaia bless you with Her bounty.

Comeing here in living having gained a measure of LIFE and progressing from mortal living which is important as well apreciated the oportunity to gain LIFE and progress into the immortal stage as well and being open to gain eternal life. Tasteing some of the fourth dimension which one does not loose in passing on ,or if completed one may not see death. also realize death serves a very benefical purpose which most are unaware of its benefits to those dying......Beleiver in Lord Christ Jesus and knowing that the Lord God is the formative poser of Creator God but not God in its entierty. Surendering daily onesself righteousness for Gods righteousness (right use) for those born of spirit comes forth realizations of many blessings unfoldment of man and art of regeneration

When you gonna face what you can't dismiss?
Whatcha gonna say to the... Soul Kiss that is my God?
Fearsome like the sag in a fat man's chair?
Sweeter than a patch of Rogaine hair?
How do you define what you can't compare?
This is... My God

And there's no use explaining what can't be contained

I'm not following a God I can lead around
I Can't tame this deity
That's why Jesus is the final answer
to Who I want my God to be!
He's Who (I want my God to be...)

How you gonna reckon with a God this Great?
Why you gonna measure what you can't equate?
Whatcha gonna say to the... Checkmate that is my God?
Stronger than the burn of an aftershave?
Tender as a burger in the microwave, rarer than the air in an empty grave?
This is... My God
And there's no use explaining what can't be contained

How we gonna work this out?
To fabricate a God like this?
No doubt
We'd end up worshipping a Christ of our own desire, but Jesus doesn't fit that profile...
His ways are not mine.

So how many Wiccans out there really have studied their own faith? Many of us bash Christians, talking about the burning times and the intolerance of Christians who call us Satan worshipers.

How many actually know who Gerald Gardner is?
How about Doreen Valiente?
Where did the Rede come from?
Who thinks that Witches practice only "White Magick"?

For those of us who confront Christians about their ignorance, how many of us actually take the time to know our own faith?

How many of us actually take the time to post well-thought-out and well spelled posts?

How many of us have read something more than "To Ride a Silver Broomstick"?

I'm not doubting people, but just think that we ought hold ourselves to the same standards that we hold others. Where do you stand?

Ya know, in real life. Let's say you're a person of ohh... Christianity (just as an exmaple) and you're pretty hardcore. When meeting someone you know is an athiest, do you look at them differently? As if they're some sort of 'fool'? Do you have assumptions that they're just generally a bad person?

And likewise for those hardcore atheists.

Christ was born to Mary because she was chosen by God to bear the Son of Man. Mary, however, was about 14 at the time, unmarried, and betrothed to a man who was NOT her baby's daddy. A little further back in Mary's family lineage is Rahab, who is, according to Joshua, a whore. David and Solomon were both polygamists. So, in other words, Jesus' family was pretty much the DEFINITION of dysfunction.

Christ's birth was more than miraculous. If the Jews had done what the Old Testament had told them to do in these situations, they would have stoned the pregnant Mary and killed Jesus in the womb.

When we think about Christ, we should think about what He overcame to get here instead of taking on HIS job of judging what we CLEARLY don't understand, don't you think?

In my previous questions, I have talked about the evidence a christian might have for believing in God. This will address the concept that unbelievers(atheists, evolutionists, agnostics, and other "logic"based folks) need faith as well. And that it is not simply an excuse to throw away our brains.
I have heard it being said more than once that "faith is a crutch" and that "believing we did not evolve from other animals is like denying the existence of gravity." But here is the question. What causes gravity? You might say gravitrons, but do you really know? Or are you taking it on faith until someone finds out? Here's another one. Where did life come from? Space or primordial earth? If it is more than faith, you should know for a fact right? All I have heard is heresay both ways. In fact it is a hotly contested question between evolutionists. What caused the Big Bang to go boom when the vacuum of space did not even exist? Don't really know that stuff? That's ok. Take it on faith.

Do you think that Christian, Jewish, and Muslim people will ever get along again like they used to in the city of Toledo in the area of Granada Spain in the past? That city used to be the intellectual capital of the world with the three groups working together in the scientific, mathematical, and literary fields.

Yes they did have a few quarrels for the implementation of the current number system we use which the Arabic Muslims created by combining the Decimal system from India and the Roman Numeral system and adding the number Zero. The Christians were against this because they didn't like the idea of a number that could mean nothing by itself and something at the same time when added to the end of another number such as ten.

But otherwise do you feel they could ever work together again or do you feel that they hate each other too much to work together and can not put aside their differences.

Do you think there is a modern day intellectual capital that they are a part of?

I've learned that God only came to one group of people. The same people who started the farming in the Fertile Crescent. The people who have spread all over the world. The people who have taken the simple life they had for granted, and wanted power. The people who think that this world is theirs to conquer. The people who are us.

I'm sure that those farmers in the Fertile Crescent were not the only people around. There were several other thousands of groups of people all around the world, and God only came to them. Why? Does that make sense to you? If God is all-loving then why did he only choose one group of people to come to?

Not only did he choose a single group, but he did not choose wisely. These people thought that they had the one right way to live, when in fact there is no such thing. There is no right way to live. Humans don't come with an instruction manual on how to live their life when they are born.

So back to my original question, Why did he choose us?
