due to the fall from grace, then why did women have to make sacrifices afterward?
Leviticus 15:28 -
'When she becomes clean of her discharge, she shall count off seven days. After that, she will be clean.'
Leviticus 15:29 -
'On the eighth day, she will take two doves or two young pigeons to the priest.'
Leviticus 15:30 -
'The priest will offer one of them as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burnt sacrifice. In this way he makes atonement for her before Yahweh for her unclean discharge. '
Did I misunderstand Genesis? I thought it could be assumed that Eve didn't have "monthlies" before the fall.

The bible says that it’s the word of god the word of god is perfect. So if the bible is flawed god didn’t make it. If man has somehow messed with the word of god and god didn’t fix this, what does this say to you? It says god doesn’t care.
Or do you not believe in your entire bible? And if you don’t how can you do this?
I know man is flawed but god wouldn’t allow flaws in the bible would he? And if he would how do you know any of it is true, which parts are mans flaws and which parts are truly god’s words? Which parts should you believe, only the things you like?

Please have proof to answer this question, that means you can't bring up god or jesus. It has to be something you can touch, see, hear and feel.

I asked this question a while ago and I am asking again

I am a catholic and a Christian I am proud of my faith thats who I am! I believe in God, Jesus and I follow the Bible,

I have only been coming here a month and I thought I would find information about religion but all I have found is backstabbing and running other peoples faith down. What has happened to society? people believe in their own faith and other people abuse them for what they believe in. That is wrong

Whether you are an Atheist or Christian I think that is your choice. No one has the right to judge a person because of what they believe in.

Do you agree or disagree? I have a reason for asking this question

If Islam is a peaceful religion, why is it that two of the largest groups of members, the Sunni's and the Shiite's kill each other and run each other out of their homes. Its like Kosovo all over again. And supposedly they believe that Mahamad had a certain succesor, thats why they kill each other.Does this religion make sense to anybody?

It's counter-productive to answer, when I don't know who I am yet.

I hope I can make my point clear without offending nobody.
Every religion has it's rules, prohibitions, traditions, etc. to which its believers should adhere. Supposedly not for the ones who don't follow it (the "non-believers"). But is this true and to which extend does this apply?
For instance, Hindu's regard a cow as a holy animal, and Muslims and Jews regard a pig as a filthy animal. I suppose than when consuming steak and/or pork I'm offending, even if I'm not a follower of one of these above mentioned religions? Or does it only apply to the followers themselves?
Another, maybe delicate example are the Danish paintings of Mohammed. Here the same question: to which extend does the prohibition of depicting the prophet apply to non-Muslims?

Only serious answers, please.

For example, if you shuffle a deck of cards, the chances of them being in a particular order is on the order of 1 in 10 to the 71st. So, if you're looking at the cards, and realize that they are, indeed, in a particular order (they have to be in SOME order), are you going to tell me that it didn't happen? That they are not, in fact, in some order?
What are the chances that you would be born? Pretty damn unlikely, considering all the factors involved in bringing you, specifically, into existence. Does that mean it could not have happened?
Probability is useful for making predictions about the future. It has no use whatsoever in making predictions about things that already happened. To say that life is TOO UNLIKELY to have emerged is just retarded, because it obviously did emerge, now didn't it?

There is one sin in the bible that confuses me, that is related to the catholic faith.(Exodus Chapter 20 verse 4) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.I've been to a catholic church once and all I see is a building filled with graven images of Gold and priests carrying graven images dressed in fine linen. Was it suppose to be ONLY the word and through our spirits that we believed in Christ and not praying to graven images. If you are a catholic give me an opinion on this.

I am conducting some class research on a garment that was constructed in India, but worn in Egypt. It is a sheer kurta, or long dress similar to a long kameez, made of black netting. Because it was worn in Egypt, what items would be worn underneath to ensure no skin is showing? Also, are women in Egypt or the middle east who are Muslim allowed to show their feet? Thanks for any help.
