i'm a pagan but i find all religons interesting. i was just wondering why are the 7 deadly sins so bad. is Greed not the will to have more than you already have ? why is that wrong?

and lust what is so wrong with lust? with out it there would be no humans on this earth and come on is it not a need to have sex.

and gluttony is it not just eating more than you need to live and don't christains do that every christmas

and on your day off why is being slothful so bad

and with out wrath would people not walk all over us

and envy why not want what someone else has wouldn't that help you get the same

and pride why not admire yourself and would not pride help you with gluttony when you eat to much to being yourself back to your normal self doesn't pride make us healthy and want to exercise.

so what is so wrong with these ''sins'' i would like to know so i don't ''bash'' you. i would like to understand you better.

AND PLEASE DON'T SAY BECAUSE THE BIBLE SAYS SO.

Even if you were to prove that God exists, there are hundreds of extant religions, each claiming to have the bead on what God's message is.

Iff it were possible, would you consider it enough to demonstrate that God exists, but be unable to demonstrate that your religion is the most accurate?

Or in order for you to feel truly grounded, would such proof be inadequate until somehow there was absolute evidence that your religion were the exclusive winner of the inter-faith debate?

Ok.. So what is considered a clean beast and an unclean beast?? and why does is say "of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens?" i though it was two of everything, the male and female. Then is says the fowls of the air by sevens also.. why seven? is there something important about the number 7? it is an odd number..

The Gospel of Matthew presents a husband who finds his wife pregnant before they come together and he thinks of having her stoned to death for adultery, privately.

Luke presents a wife who was forewarned of her having to be "come upon" and "overshadowed" for "that holy thing which shall be born".

Why cant Christians examine what they claim to believe when they read the books and refuse to see whats in the books?
