In Acts 2:38 Peter says; Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Does the words "and be" refer to a present Spiritual baptism, at the time of repentance, or future Water baptism, after repentance?

I believe that my soul has lived multiple lives. I was born again several times.

Most souls cross over. Jesus has nothing to do with it.

This is an honest question. I'm actually not going to mock or down you, just a curiosity of mine. Do you actually call Christmas by its name or do you use a different name? The reason I ask is that Christmas comes from the translation---Christ's Mass. That's generalized I know, but wouldn't it go against your religion to actually call it Christmas. Just curious.

I've never been a member of a church before. If I find a church that I like, how would I join it? Should I have my girlfriend go to church with me?

This is just came out of my mind:
I just need your opinion:

People who lives under God's Law and Earth's Law we called it "Believer"
People who lives under Earth's Law only and doesn't live under God's Law we called it "Non-Believer"
And People who doesnt live under both Laws are "Criminals".

Oh, is there such a "People who lives under God's Law only but doesn't want to obey Earth's Law?????"

What do u think?

I don't know if they could have a new "inquisition" or not, but the long and bloody history of christianity has certainly paid off today.

And I can't really accept "you can tell by their fruits" as an answer, mostly because there are a lot of people who are *not* Christians who outwardly display the fruits of the spirit. Not trying to be a pain, just eliminating that one because of the logical problems with it. I've just seen a lot of things about "these people are not real Christians" or whatever, and I'm curious as to the criteria.

In Hinduism there is one supreme God and he takes many different forms. In Christianity there is one supreme God also and he takes different forms also (Trinity).

Crossroads you had in the past? Crossroads your memory may briefly catch a glimpse of, showing you the destinations at the ends of such roads.. Making you forget so that when you come to a crossing again you choose to go the wrong way this time or the wrong way again?

I attended an Assembly of God church for a while. I know, don't ask, it is a long story.

I heard the pastor say, from the pulpit, that some people who wear a cross should not be doing so because they are not "real" Christians.

Do Catholics know that they are not "real" Christians?

How does this work exactly? Where does it say in the bible what a "real" Christian is and is not?

If his nose occupy a place in the void then that place cannot be occupied by his ears. I dont care if God is spiritual or material. In both cases there is something illogical about his omnipresence. What about his dick? Are they all in everywhere overlapping, or crossing into one another.... What is happening?

Maybe this is a mistake passed down for many generations and if relgious groups were to admit to it, it would rock the whole fountaiton of the christian world. Here is the thing, why is is it such a big deal if they were seperate people? I'd really like to know. Also, why would Jesus ask himself (if he were God) if there was any other way to get out of being crusified? I do consider myself a Christian, but I have always wondered this. Please don't put me down for asking, instead, give me some good explainations. Thanks.

Are christians that weak that they have to add the words "god" on money and the pledge just to make themselves feel better? I guess they think if they keep seeing the word that its gonna make it true well guess what losers, thats not gonna happen. So you can add "god" on money on pledges on the floor on the wall on the ceiling wherever you tards wanna add it but its not gonna change anything besides making your weak selves get through the day by avoiding reality
