That's not what Hindus believe, and even if it was there would be no conection. For example, the god Visnu can take several forms (change), which is different from God existing in 3 distinct forms. There are thousands of gods in Hinduism, but some Hindus don't believe in gods at all. Its the most complicated religion.

In the Christianity of Christendom, there is the three headed god principle, Not in the Christianity of Christ. He said there is only one God, one Father--Please note:

Mark 13:28 " Now one of the scribes that had come up and heard them disputing, knowing that he had answered them in a fine way, asked him: “Which commandment is first of all?” 29 Jesus answered: “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah, 30 and you must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind and with your whole strength.’"

The Bibles Christianity is far different from the church Christianity.

Because of the Crusades & Inquisition etc. that the religions of Christendom supported, individuals like the following stated:
"I love Christ but I depise Christianity because they do not live as Christ lived"(Mahatma Ghandi)

There is indeed much more Biblical & secular proof of the trinity concept being totally absent from the Bible

It has alot of the same concepts about how to live your life when comparing Jesus life, 10 commandments and Hinduism principles.

Jesus was the centerpoint in Christitanity and he is the most vivid and recent proof that God loves us and wants us to live a certain way for the sake of love and goodness to one another.

Good luck!

You need to clear things up in my head. I thought that Hinduism believed in panthism.
That all things were god:
The trees are god, the grass is god, the cat is god, the dog is god, the table is god, the chair is god. Don't they believe that everything is god?
That is what I was taught about Hinduism.

Wrong, there is no such thing as the Trinity. Trinity is Catholic title no one in the Bible was ever baptized in the Trinity. Hindu and Christian are not the same Christians don't worship cows, they cook the beef on the grill and Christians don't share their food with rats.

Christianity is more like paganism. The Christians worship the deities of Jesus and other saints.

Yeah, I've often thought that Jesus could have been a Hindu.
Jesus said you can move mountains with faith
Hindus say you'll see it when you believe it.

There's close similaritiy in that respect anyhow.

NO!! No, no, no, no, no, no, NO!!!!!

That is the classic HERESY of "modalism" - condemned in the third century, as was the main heretic that taught it, Sabellius. From him, we get the name "Sabellianism" - which names the heresy!!

Forms???? That is *classic* Sabellianism!!

Three Persons (or hypostasis)** - One God in essence (substance) - Greek "ousia" - THAT is the Trinity.
