Normally People have various Duties for the proper maintenance of the Society and well being of all living entity. These Duties are assigned as per one's qualities and deeds. According to their duties they are divided into four class - Workers, Bussinessmen, Administrators or warriors, Priestly or Intellectual Class.

But above all these Duties, the foremost Duty of every living Entity is "To Surrender to God and engage in his Service".

This is special injunction in the Conclusion of Bhagavad Gita (18.66). Krishna or God says
“Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.”

These Duties are explained in great details in Bhagavad Gita and i would suggest you to kindly read it.

1)They usually go to temple, perform some prayers in sanskrit with the help of a person in temple
2)celebrate every festival
3)read Bhagwat gita if possible.
These are practices in normal life. Important practices come when there are incidents like death or birth or marriage or pilgrimage.

it depends on your caste, practices are defined within the caste you are in
