I totally agree with the second answer! Your childish bantering is whats weak. The word 'God' is on our money as a statement of faith--a faith that this country was founded on. You are avoiding reality by living in your naive little dream world. Learn some history and use your brain before you speak.

So you think that by getting rid of that word all over the place it will make God go away? After the communists took over China and began persecuting Christians, and removing all references to God, the nomber of Christians increased from under a million to over a hundred million. Same thing happened in the USSR with Evangelical Christianity. So removing the word doesn't seem to help your cause at all.
No, it wasn't even Christians who had that word put. It was a cultural thing, I believe. Some Christians are reacting today to those fanatics who are trying to get rid of the word, and that is quite understandable. The word itself will change nothing. But the attitude of the fanatics who want to remove it is reprehensible.

Look, dear, For your own good, I have a little advise. Even though it is apparent that you have contempt for those who believe in God, but think for just a minute WHAT IF HE REALLY DOES EXIST???
If he does exist, just for arguments sake, what would you do in the end when you are at death's door and the Lord God shows Himself to you to prove to you He really does exist and says that if you acknowledge Him and show repentance for your sins, He Willl give you paradise? WOULD YOU BELIEVE THEN???
Our God is so Merciful that He loves even those who hate Him and deny Him, and He will never stop giving you chances to change your heart. If you remain stubborn then, and even though you have now (hypothetically) seen and heard the Truth from the Master Himself, you would be throwing away your soul into Hell at your own will, and not by God's Will. He died for EVERYONE and wil remain sad forever over the loss of any soul that chooses not to believe to the very end and refuses to know His Saving Power.
.However, if you come to believe at the final moment of your life and repent, then no matter what you have ever done to denigrate His Name and no matter what you have ever done to manifest your hatred, YOU WILL BE FORGIVEN, and that is a Promise.
Oh, I know you don't believe in heaven or hell either. Purely for argument's sake WHAT IF THEY REALLY DO EXIST?? I think that even though you can't see these things (like God, or heaven or hell) that does not mean they don't exist, and IF they do, then you may be in big trouble unless you become more tolerant and flexible.
So what I am saying is, don't you think it would be wise to try to believe, just in case you are wrong? What harm is there in that? At least you will give God the opportunity to work in your heart because you opened it to Him;and in so doing, let Him in, so that the Truth can grow within you. God does not force Himself on anyone, but He gently knocks until you open the door to Him. Likewise He would never throw a single precious soul in Hell because He paid for every one of them with His own Blood. You would have to hate and deny him stubbornly, and then reject His Vision when you stand before Him on judgment day, in order to choose that fate.
If it was me, I would wonder about this and probably choose to be better safe than sorry and become more open minded about God, who if you let Him, would love to be your best friend. God Bless You.

And this be our motto: “In God is our trust!”
and the Declaration of Independence:
We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
Even Martin Luther King, Jr. ended his famous "I have a dream" speech with:
"Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

I don't understand the need for it everywhere either. God is with me wherever I go, I don't need to invoke him in any building like a school, or have him on my money, etc. If you truly believe, don't you think there's no need to see the name everywhere because you're already feeling it anyway?

Without conviction a child is taught to utter the word 'God' not knowing what it means. In course of time one's mind is conditioned by that word and we tend to use it out of our total ignorance. We feel threatened when some one with application of his mind and reasoning comes to question the interpretation. The Church is the Institute which prevails up on perpetuating our ignorance.
So Church is certainly weak which does not have the moral and spiritual strength to withstand the Truth. It is a mere man made institute which these days only multiplies the number of innocent and ignorant converts in the third world countries.
What a pity, indeed.

...This Christian is weak, alright, and not ashamed and not too arrogant to admit it. See what the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12 - observe:
...9 And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness " Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
..10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
...I will keep on trusting Christ, and pray that God may have mercy on your soul, and save you.

On the note of avoiding reality, answer this possibly unrelated question (assuming you are a non-God believer): If you cannot prove God exists, then how can you prove happiness or sadness exists? Many non-Christian peoples use the word happiness, but can they prove its existence?

Reality is you cant serve two masters either you serve God or the devil.. Only two places to go after death heaven to be with Jesus or to hell totally separated from God..
