I should re-word my thoughts.

A cult and a religion using textbook definitions are almost the same thing.

Christianity is equal to Scientology.

They have the same amount of concrete eveidence.

They both take you money.

They both have unprovable ideas behind them.

They were both made up by man, and if you say christianity was made
by god or jesus proove it.Dont think that i will recognize religious figures as facts just because so many others do.

Explain to me how Scientology is different from Christianity.

I think it would be worth changing the first amendment to ban christianity, throughout history it has been the cause of many problems, the medieval ages, the holocaust etc. It also slows scientific progress. Christianity is simply too old an idea to work in the modern world.

My girlfriend has trouble believing that God exists. It confuses her. I don't know what to do. All I can think of is to pray so I ask anybody who reads this to PLEASE say a prayer for her right now. THANK YOU SO MUCH. your prayers mean soooo much to me.

why not let kids enjoy their innocence and allow them to decide if religion is for them when they reach adulthood?Is it because then that the atheism numbers will grow higher?

never grew up in a spiritual household. Actually, I didn't grow up in a house at all; it was a methlab. Kind of strange that a child could grow up in the conditions I grew up and still learn from friends of their religions and still believe they could be true. So for years I kept faith, kept pushing through.

The abuse got worse. My life has been threatened by my own father, for doing nothing but trying to help my mother, who is not much better herself.

At 15, I developed stage V cystic acne (affects roughly 1 in 10,000 during their adolescense) over 80% of my face. For nearly three years I walked around with hard crust over my face. No one would even look at me, if they did it was in laughter or disguist.

At 18, I developed clinical depression. For two years I was so close to the brink of suicide it took everything I had to fight it off. My body was eating itself away.


I asked for help so many times, no help ever came. Does your God only help those who grow up privilaged?

All right so for those of you who think that I am going to hell because I have four Tattoos, that indeed depict christian symbols thus making them christian in nature, you are ill informed. Let me inform you of why in Leviticus it was a law not to be tattooed or cut yourself.
In ancient pagan religions it was thought that tattoos could protect you from harmfull magic. Some tattoos also indicated which God or cult you belongd to (analogous to the fact that slaves were branded or tattooed) the earliest evidence of tattooing in the near east comes from Neo lithic fertility figurines discovered in Jordan. In middle kingdom Egypt tattoos associated with Hathor (fertility goddess) were discovered on a mummy prietstess. These figurines were referred to as brides of the dead linked to sexuality withe rebirth ensuring the rebirth of a God. It seems likely that these laws were directed at specific practices. I am a Christian American and my boyfriend is a Hindu Indian. I have researched and got some Hindu script and believe in the religion. I want to convert to Hindu but am not sure which is the right approach for acceptance from Krishna. If anyone has went through this or is Hindu please advice me. Thank you so much. Tammy Bhukya
