Would any one who answered the following question "What was god's excuse for dinosaurs then?was it in the bible or any other fiction book?" PLEASE explain why so many answers were not only ill conceived but also down right naive?

GOD IS PREPARING THE EARTH THOUSANDS OF YEARS YOU SEE THE EVIDENCE

Sorry to disappoint you, but the bible is a holy book, not a history of planet earth. Science shows that the dinosaurs evolved, had a long span of existence, and died out around 65 million years ago. it is not that difficult a concept. for instance, modern man is causing mass extinctions. The individuals from those species may show up in the future fossil record, even though no living examples will exist. Believing that god had an "excuse" for dinosaurs is a desperate attempt to find "everything you need to know" in the bible, as the Muslims do with the Quran. To non-believers, that is even more bizarre than belief in a god.

Oh I'm so glad you asked :)
Yes the bible speaks of dinosaurs, only it doesn't call them dinosaurs. The word "dinosaur" didn't come about until the 1800's. In the bible, they use the names they used to call them. To them, they were just other animals. 2 examples are spoken of in Job, I think it's chapter 38 or 39 or both. Leviathon, is one and another....Behemoth. The descriptions of these creatures in the bible appear very dino-like. At the very least, we don't see animals of that description now adays. The world before the flood of Noah was very different than the world afterwords. All the animals except the ones on the ark were destroyed. Well all the land animals that is. The ones that could not thrive or survive very well in a post flood world we do not see today. Hope that helps with your understanding of the issue of dino's in the Bible. I encourage you to continue looking for answers. A good sight that explains in scientific/biblical terms of why the world is the way it is now and so forth is ...

If you want a bit of honesty, your question does not really make any sense. What is the purpose of the question? You see "...Gods purpose for Dinosaurs?" has no real relationship with the next bit, ..." Was it in the Bible?.." and to be brutally honest, the next bit is also unrelated to the first two strings "....Or any other fiction book..."
You will need an idiot to link them. So most of the answers you will get will not be what you expect. EG God made the dinosaurs then dictated the bible, and then made the people who wrote the Science fiction. Get me now?

Having not seen the answers at issue, I cannot comment on those. We know that the dinosaurs lived during the Cretaceous, 138 to 67 million years ago. The bible says nothing about them (dinosaurs hadn't been discovered back then); on the odds, anything it might have said would probably be wrong, as the bible has hundreds of errors.

ok, somebody desires to benefit comprehension. he's largely asserting God damned u.s. for our strikes, because it (the bible) states he will do to those that consistently stay in sin.... Sodom and Gomorrah, seem it up. or possibly you bear in mind the little tale approximately Noahs Ark. i've got not heard the sermon and its fairly obvious what he's conversing approximately. in case you mustn't or can not discern this out on your guy or woman please pass back to college and advance your guidance. a minimum of he's not retarded sufficient to surely declare the earth is 6,000 years previous, that's supposedly interior the bible too (in case you ask strict creationists)

Seriously, if the Bible kept an account of every animal in the world and what happens to them... who would have time to read it? You all think its too big and boring as it is.

There are naive answers then there is true revelation,
[029:018] "And if you deny, then nations before you have denied (their Messengers). And the duty of the Messenger [Peace Be Upon Him] is only to convey (the Message) plainly."
[029:019] See they not how God originates the creation, then repeats it. Verily, that is easy for God.
[029:020] Say: "Travel in the land and see how (God) originated the creation, and then God will bring forth the creation of the Hereafter (i.e. resurrection after death). Verily, God is Able to do all things."
[029:021] He punishes whom He wills, and shows mercy to whom He wills; and to Him you will be returned.

These types of post usually attract a certain kind of poster. The "God-Squad" will come on and tell you how stupid you are for believing in something that you can prove as opposed to something you can't.

maybe you're thinking about it too hard, maybe the answer's just because...life happens.Think of all the animals who haven't "made it" all the ones being wiped out right now. It's just life, it's a cycle and not everything can survive.Watch jurrassic park :)
