Are homosexuals cursed by God or do they just have great fashion sense?

From a Catholic perspective:


Every human being is called to receive a gift of divine sonship, to become a child of God by grace. However, to receive this gift, we must reject sin, including homosexual behavior—that is, acts intended to arouse or stimulate a sexual response regarding a person of the same sex. The Catholic Church teaches that such acts are always violations of divine and natural law.

Homosexual desires, however, are not in themselves sinful. People are subject to a wide variety of sinful desires over which they have little direct control, but these do not become sinful until a person acts upon them, either by acting out the desire or by encouraging the desire and deliberately engaging in fantasies about acting it out. People tempted by homosexual desires, like people tempted by improper heterosexual desires, are not sinning until they act upon those desires in some manner.

The key phrase: "Homosexual desires, however, are not in themselves sinful."

So to answer your question: Homosexuals are not cursed by God, and their fashion sense is probably better than mine. :)

Homosexuals come about because man has sinned and his body has become corrupted and subject to death. Without the intervention of God and His blessings on a man his corruption will become worse as time goes on resulting in all kinds of sicknesses, maladies and even sexual malfunction, like homosexualism. Because God intends to use mankind to defeat the devil , the devil uses all kinds of ways to reduce reproduction of people including abortion, same sex relationships which cannot produce children and other means. More people means God can save more to oppose the devil. Homosexuals therefore are the result of the curse of sin borned out of man's free will and the manipulation of the devil. Only Jesus is the way to full restoration of mankind to his original perfection. God wants to perfect us but man wants to destroy himself with the wrong indulgences. It is all totally the fault of man. The fallen man's forte is blame-shifting. It is always some other body's fault. You see it happening all the time.

No. Like a potter, from a handfull of sand, he can make different kinds of pots, some ordinary, other with design and are special. So it is with God. He made some male, some female, some gay but still they are His creations. It is like that all the time. Even your fingers, they are not of the same lenght and uses. I'd say AIDS is a fair curse, and still no cure, and as far as I know just to live a year cost 100K+ on meds. That would make it a curse don't you!
