Why are we on this planet?

Please have proof to answer this question, that means you can't bring up god or jesus. It has to be something you can touch, see, hear and feel.

Your question does not fit your parameters. Biologically we are on this planet because our parents mated and we were the result. The why you seek has to go beyond physical evidence and that of necessity invokes the presence of a supreme being. Our spirits are not of this existence. They come from another realm, children of our Eternal Father. He chose His firstborn son to be the Savior and Redeemer for the rest of His children. He sent us here to test us, or that we might be tested, to learn for ourselves the difference between right and wrong. By exercising our agency, we learn from the choices we make. When we are done with this existence, we move on to the next phase, ultimately, if we pass the test, becoming like our Eternal Parents. Yes, plural, there is an Eternal Mother as well as an Eternal Father.
That is why we are here on this planet. It was planned to be so for our growth and development. There is no proof, it is faith. Science is a vacuum on this subject. Science cannot say why we are here, where we came from or where we are going. Only Eternal sources can give such Eternal answers.

The true answer reflects belief in God and His plan of salvation. We are all here to gain a mortal body, to endure the pains and joys of life, and to make the correct choices that will return us to the Father's presence.

Gravity? (Oh, foozball, someone already answered it!)

Okay, the esoteric meaning: we are here because Joy propelled us here. That is all. How could I prove this? Can't. But I do have these moles on my arm, which triggered a memory of How I Got To Earth. In it, there were a few things going on, but the strongest memory of HOW I got here was by force of Joy. (It's super duper fast!)

So the conclusion I draw from this memory is that we do have a purpose, and we all want to be here. I don't know what or why though.

Perhaps to experience sweet sweet loving.

Because matter evolves into conscisousness. The ingredients for life is everywhere in the cosmos. Given enough time for matter to evolve, you get life. If you keep evolving you will get somewhat intelligent life. We have to give our lives meaning. We will one day have to leave this planet. Just as when we live with our parents and then one day, venture our on our own. That should be our purpose. Put aside our differences and work together.

we are the descendants or left over of that slave race.

well to me I think that we are here becuase this is the only place with the most oxegen to live. other planets are just gas and others are just frosen ice balls. even some dont even have any oxygen. So the reason i think that we are on this planet is because of the air and where it is located

We are here to get sick and tired of our physical desires and pleasures and realize that they will never fulfill us and that the physical plane is a toilet bowl ... to begin desiring the higher spiritual realities in our life and to desire God, thereby finding the path back home. Seek and you shall find. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.
