due to the fall from grace, then why did women have to make sacrifices afterward?
Leviticus 15:28 -
'When she becomes clean of her discharge, she shall count off seven days. After that, she will be clean.'
Leviticus 15:29 -
'On the eighth day, she will take two doves or two young pigeons to the priest.'
Leviticus 15:30 -
'The priest will offer one of them as a sacrifice for sin and the other as a burnt sacrifice. In this way he makes atonement for her before Yahweh for her unclean discharge. '
Did I misunderstand Genesis? I thought it could be assumed that Eve didn't have "monthlies" before the fall.

'Whenever a woman has her menstrual period, she will remain in a state of menstrual pollution for seven days.'

There is nothing sin-full about menstruation, it's perfectly natural. The verses quoted are not referring to menstruation. In verse 15:25, a few verses before the ones you quoted, it says, "If a woman has blood flowing for many days when it is not the time of her menstrual period, or she has some other kind of discharge after her menstrual period." The verses are referring to some kind of disease that causes unusual bodily discharges. The same is said about unusual bodily discharges from a man starting in verse 15:1. They are told that they are unclean and should stay away from others in order not to infect anyone else. After the disease has run it's course and they have recovered, they are told to bring offerings of thanks to G-d that He has healed them from the disease. The sin offering is brought because it is presumed that if G-d allowed one to become sick, they must have been guilty of some small sin in order to deserve it. Therefore, now that they are aware of the sin, they bring the offering as a way to ask for G-d's forgiveness.

The thing is this is all bogus teachings King Constantine put all this nasty stuff by Paul and other untrue teachings. Read The Gospel of the Nazirenes Edited and Restored with historical documentation by Alan Wauters and Rick Van Wyhe. This is the original Bible taught by Christ who was actually and Essene. "To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? Saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and th fat of fed beasts, and I delight not in the blood of bulls or cows, or lambs or goats. When ye spread forth your hands, I will hide Mine eyes from you. When ye make many prayers, I will not hear, for your hands are full of blood." Isaiah 1:11, 15 And as far as the monthlies that is a curse on women from Lord Indra (One of Gods superintendants of the material world cursed them to have this because of a war thousands of years ago.)

according to genesis, eve's punishment was an increase in childbirth pain. which, along with the be fruitful and multiply command, implies that she was a reguarly built female even before.

as for the leviticus stuff, its all due to the ritual uncleanliness of blood. all bleeding of any kind in both males and females came with rituals to go through in order to make yourself clean again. menstrual blood is still blood, so is therefore not an exception to he rule. if you look at the beginning of lev 15, you will see that men who have a "discharge" (blood, semen) also have to wait seven days and do the same thing.

All it says in Genesis as far as that topic goes is that Eve (and her descendents) would experience pain in childbirth due to sin. Some may assume that the menstral cycle comes from that same curse, but the fact is, we don't know for sure.

it wasn't a sin to have PMS, but yes it was a consequence of the fall. It went along with child birth. Those were ceremonial laws though, thank goodness they don't have to do that anymore.

A menstrual period is not a curse of God. Pain during childbirth is.

So the God of the Old Testament was a pagan?

I think it just says God will greatly increase her pain in childbirth. The story is a metaphor anyway

Probably the sin of not getting pregnant. That would stop the period.

Beats me, as far as I am concerned there is no original sin, and if there was an ADAM then he did it, and blamed EVE.
