In my own church, roughly 99% of them are staunch Bush supporters. I lovingly disagree with them, though. They seem to be all about one issue, the abortion issue, which has not been resolved since Bush has been in office. He has systematically ran our national financial situation back into the ground.
I actually heard one of our church members comment on someone she knows who is a democrat and is a Christian. She said, "Can you believe she's a democrat, yet she claims to be a Christian?" Obviously, I don't agree with that staement.
But to answer your question, I say yes; most of the church sticks with the republican party no matter what, at least in my community.

I think he is defended by people who would defend the right wing conservatives no matter what they do. He admits himself that his philosophies aren't workint the way he had hoped, and yet people say that this is simply leftist mumbo-jumbo and they hope he won't cave into there ways.
I actually have to say something I never thought I would at this point. Good job at admitting your errors and looking for a better solution to the problems of the world. Even if he doesn't follow any of the things set out by the Iraq commision, I think he has done more than many by simply creating something to this effect, and I don't even like the guy.

yes and also by people who don't believe in a particular religious philosophy. Mostly by people who understand that Muslims have turned murderous. Much like WWII when suddenly Germans under Nazis attacked and began killing their neighbors. Also Japanese same thing!! When normal looking Muslims slit the throats of airline pilots and killed as many Americans as they could, the Americans and other Countries were put on notice that these Muslims and THEIR SUPPORTERS have turned murderous. Now it is them or us. Just like Pearl Harbor!!!!

He's defended by people who don't want to admit their mistake in voting for him or either he was their best hope of having a president that truly wanted to do the right thing for God and country. Either way, he missed the mark and innocent people are paying for it with their lives.

Seems to me that Bush has been elevated to the status of a god, because he clings to religion to justify his actions. It would appear that those who defend him feel that if they criticize him, it would be akin to criticizing Christianity. Something tells me Bush knows this and this is why he clings to Christianity. (Just my opinion.)

George did wonders for our foriegn policy. In retrospect the Dixie Chicks were prophetic. Oh, wasn't he told by god to go to war. The Same God that told Pat Robertson to run for president.

I think he is an honest man and a brother in Christ. Remember his job isn't he easiest. Yes, he has made mistakes, we all do. But God says we are to pray for those in authority over us. I never liked Clinton, but rarely did I say anything bad about him and yes I prayed for him. God knows we all need it and if you don't think so, you do!!!!
