Praise to be God, the beneficent the Merciful.
This is an excellent question and I am delighted to answer it for you.
[003:053] "Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger [Jesus]; so write us down among those who bear witness (to the truth, i.e. Lâ ilâha illallah) – none has the right to be worshiped but God)."
[003:054] And they (disbelievers) plotted [to kill Jesus ['alayhis-salâm]], and God planned too. And God is the Best of those who plan.
[003:055] And (remember) when God said: "O Jesus! I will make you sleep and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that Jesus is God's son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (monotheists, who worship none but God) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of God, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad [Peace Be Upon Him], Jesus, Mûsâ (Moses), or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurât (Torah), the Injîl (Gospel), the Qur'ân] till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute."
[003:056] "As to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe torment in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers."
[003:057] And as for those who believe (in the Oneness of God) and do righteous good deeds, God will pay them their reward in full. And God does not like the Zalimûn (polytheists and wrong doers).
[003:058] This is what We recite to you (O Muhammad [Peace Be Upon Him]) of the Verses and the Wise Reminder (i.e. the Qur'ân).
[003:059] Verily, the likeness of Jesus before God is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" – and he was.
[003:060] (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt.
[003:061] Then whoever disputes with you concerning him [Jesus] after (all this) knowledge that has come to you [i.e. Jesus being a slave of God, and having no share in Divinity], say (O Muhammad [Peace Be Upon Him]): "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves – then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of God upon those who lie."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
[004:157] And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah Jesus, son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of God," – but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it appeared so to them [the resemblance of Jesus was put over another man (and they killed that man)], and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely, they killed him not [i.e. Jesus, son of Maryam (Mary) ['alayhis-salâm]]:
[004:158] But God raised him [Jesus] up (with his body and soul) to Himself (and he ['alayhis-salâm] is in the heavens). And God is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise.
[004:159] And there is none of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) but must believe in him [Jesus, son of Maryam (Mary), as only a Messenger of God and a human being] before his [Jesus ['alayhis-salâm] or a Jew's or a Christian's] death (at the time of the appearance of the angel of death). And on the Day of Resurrection, he [Jesus] will be a witness against them
[019:029] Then she pointed to him. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"
[019:030] He [Jesus] said: "Verily, I am a slave of God, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;"
[019:031] "And He has made me blessed wheresoever I be, and has enjoined on me Salât (prayer) and Zakât (obligatory charity), as long as I live."
[019:032] "And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest.
[019:033] "And Salâm (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!"
[019:034] Such is Jesus, son of Maryam (Mary). (It is) a statement of truth about which they doubt (or dispute).
[019:035] It befits not (the Majesty of) God that He should beget a son [this refers to the slander of Christians against God, by saying that Jesus is the son of God]. Glorified (and Exalted) is He (above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing, He only says to it: "Be!" – and it is.
[019:036] [Jesus said:] "And verily, God is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him (Alone). That is a Straight Path. (God's religion of Islâmic Monotheism which He did ordain for all of His Prophets)." (Tafsir At-Tabarî)
[019:037] Then the sects differed [i.e. the Christians about Jesus ['alayhis-salâm]], so woe to the disbelievers [those who gave false witness by saying that Jesus is the son of God] from the Meeting of a great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection, when they will be thrown in the blazing Fire).
[019:038] How clearly will they (polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of God) see and hear, the Day when they will appear before Us! But the Zalimûn (polytheists and wrong doers) today are in plain error.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Remember this is revelation that has been unaltered in the Arabic Qu'ran more than 1400 years ago. The current Bible has too many variations and It would very difficult to ascertain what exactly has been left unaltered. But doing some research there is very much overlap in the message of of the Oneness of God.
GOD THE FATHER
"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." - Matthew 5:48
"... otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven." - Matthew 6:1
"Not every one that sayeth unto me (Jesus), Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doeth the will of my Father, which is in heaven." - Matthew 7:21
N.B. The word 'Lord' here was translated as Rabb in the Arabic version of the Bible so that people may be convinced that Jesus is God! But if one studies the rest of the verse, one will note that the verse bears testimony to the subservience (to God's Will) of the Messiah (Jesus). Therefore the correct translation should be:
"Not every one that sayeth to me, O my Master, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
It is obvious from the above readings from the Bible that the term 'Father' is used for God in numerous places in the Bible. It is never used exclusively for Jesus.
"At that time Jesus answered and said, 'I thank Thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent and has revealed them unto babes.'" - Matthew 11:25
JESUS: A PROPHET OF GOD.
"And behold, one came and said unto him, 'Good master, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?' And he said unto him, 'Why callest thou me good? (There is) none good but one, (i.e.) God, but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.'" - Matthew 19:16-17
In the above verses we note this acknowledgment of his submissiveness (to God's Will).
"And when the chief priests and pharisees had heard his parable, they perceived that he spoke of them. But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude because they took him for a Prophet." - Matthew 21:45-46
Here it is proved that all those who believed in Jesus during his life-time did not believe in him being God or the Son of God or one in the doctrine of Trinity; but they believed in him as being a Prophet only. This is indeed one of the strongest points of evidence against those who believe in the Divinity of Jesus (Incarnation of God) if only they pondered.
JESUS: A SERVANT OF God.
"But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your master, even Jesus, and all ye are brethren." - Matthew 23:8
Here it is clearly proved that Jesus was servant of God, and that there is only One Master and He is God. In the arabic version of the Bible this verse has been translated so that Jesus is meant to be the master whereas the English rendering is nearer the original sense.
"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father which is in heaven" - Matthew 23:9
For this you will note that fatherhood and sonship is meant to be the relationship between the Lord and His servants: it is meant in a general sense and not specifically for Jesus.
"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." - Matthew 24:36
JESUS: PREACHER OF MONOTHEISM (TAUHID)
"And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou has sent." - John 17:3
"And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, 'Which is the first commandment of all?' And Jesus answered him: 'The first of all the commandments is; hear O Israel, the Lord thy God is One Lord: and thou shalt love the Lord, thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.'" - Mark 12:28-30
"And the scribe said unto him, 'Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is One God; and there is none other but He.'" - Mark 12:32
"... he (Jesus) said unto him, 'Thou art not far from the kingdom of God...'" - Mark 12:34
In these verses, Jesus (peace be upon him) himself had testified that God is the One God, there is none other than Him, and that whoever believes in His Oneness, he is near the Kingdom of God.
"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angles of the heaven, but my Father only." - Matthew 24:36
I say: A similar text was quoted from Matthew which is exactly as proclaimed by the Qur'ân in that none knows when the Hour will come except God. This establishes the fact that Jesus was subservient to God and that he had no share in Divinity: that he was an incarnation of God, was an innovation by the people of Canaan.
"Jesus said unto her, 'Mary'. She turned herself, and sayeth unto him, 'Rabboni', which is to say, Master, Jesus saith unto her, 'Touch me not: For I am not yet ascended unto my Father and your Father; and to my God and your God.' Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she has seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things unto her." - John 20:16
This is a definite proof that the Final Hour is unknown to any but God, thus Jesus's knowledge is imperfect like all other men; God Alone is All-Knowing, Omniscient.
"And he (Jesus) went a little farther, and fell on his face and prayed, saying, 'O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as Thou wilt.'" - Matthew 26:39
We note here that the person speaking is unaware of God's Will and realizes the fact that he is a servant of God. He (God) Alone can cause the change.
So there is just a little more evidence for you my friend, and may God forgive me if I made any mistakes in attributing what was false to be true.
