Go to www.mardel.com When you buy a bible from them they do free name imprints. This is what I did when I proposed to my wife. I used the ribbon from the first roses that I got her and wrapped it around looking like a cross and had the ring attached in the middle. Make sure you look over the different translations and brands. There are a lot of different styles of bibles and help sections that help the difficult parts when reading. If you have a local Mardel, it takes less than 20 minutes depending on how busy they are, but I believe you can do it online if you need to.

As Christians, we acknowledge that we are not alone in the world. The Bible does not exist in a vacuum, and the lessons we have learned also require that we acknowledge a lot of suffering has taken place to give us the wisdom we have gained about love and truth. Anybody who claims that being a nice person is something he or she invented all by themselves is not telling the whole truth. There is a lot in the Bible that is hard to accept or understand. Yet it happened. Furthermore, God is able to take terrible things and make good come from them. The Bible does not tell us to keep slaves, it does not tell us to rape women. If you think that's what it's saying, you need to read it and focus on what you can learn from Jesus Christ, which is the entire purpose of the Bible.

Someone mentioned Family Christian Stores. I know they've got a website...http://www.familychristian.com.
Do you know what translation (NCV, NLT, NIV, NKJV etc) she likes? That would be helpful in choosing her new Bible.
That's an awesome gift!
