806. To tamper with psychic forces while in this world interferes with the condition of the soul in the world to come. These forces are real, but are not to be active on this plane.

The child in the womb has its eyes, ears, hands and feet, but these powers are not in activity. The whole purpose of the womb-life is the coming forth into this world. I can tell you that mediums fall into one of two categories for the most part. Either they are con artists or they are people who are being deceived by evil spirits who trick them into thinking that they can help others by seeking supernatural guidance apart from the living God of Heaven.

People like Sylvia Browne may be very nice and moral people who want to do good in this life. She claims that she has a "spirit guide" who reveals truths to her. In reality she has a demonic spirit that leads her to tell lies to people mixed with truths that the evil spirits concoct to lead people away from Christ and into the occult.

It's no big thing for an invisible spirit to tell Sylvia what happened to another person in the audience. That's the bait. Then it goes on to tell Sylvia that God loves everyone and we are all on our way to Heaven whether or not we have trusted in Jesus for our salvation. Dead relatives who are probably spending their time awaiting the resurrection of the damned supposedly speak through Sylvia and say that they are doing just fine and that they forgive their son or daughter for things they did while they were still alive. It's all a demonic hoax!

There was a medium who happened to be a midget working where I lived. They arrested him because he was stealing peoples money at his readings. They took him to jail but he was so small he slipped out between the bars at the jail.
