How do you worship Poseidon?
(I face the ocean each day and praise him with song and dance.)

How has Poseidon touched your life?

I'm just curious. I guess i've never really encountered a person with wiccan beliefs. I also don't really wanna spend 20 bucks on a book to find out, so it would be nice if anyone could explain the gist of the religion to me here.

thanks.

I'm not talking about world peace, or good health for your loved ones. I mean more like winning a sporting event, or getting the right lottery numbers.

Do you think God minds? Or is He happy to help?

I ask as an agnostic with an open and friendly mind towards religion.

I know this was asked previously but I really need a concrete answer. Millions of innocent people died mercilessly including the disabled, children and babies, etc. I can't believe someone or some of us let this happen. What was U.S. doing when this happened? Was there some effort to stop this from happening?

I would like to know if these items are lost or stolen, and if stolen, by whom: small china prayer doll, and a framed collector's plate. Are the items still in my house? If not, were they stashed behind a chair and under a bed to enable thief to remove them from my house.

lust and sex is one of the original sin against god and men are mostly a victim of this sin and most of them suffer and die cause of this deadly sin so you think those who pray to god often and believed in god and are true born again christian are not easily possesed by this evil thing, genesis: do not eat the apple in the garden of eden and you will certainly die guess who forced man to eat the apple.

I'm afraid to put one on my car, lest I be keyed by someone more righteous than myself, but given the relative anonymity here, all I have to worry about is a thumbs down, right? I can live with that! Actually, I rather enjoy them (almost as much as thumbs up)!

You can not only be forgiven for all your sins, but Jesus Christ died for your sins so you can be completely set free from sin. Justified! Just as if you never sinned!

We just formed a new youth group for our kids in the neighborhood. The area is a bit tough, Native American, low income. The name of our church is St. Michael the Archangel. Does anyone have any ideas what to call the group? It will be for kids 12 and up. Any advise is very welcomed, like what to watch out for, should our group get some sort of ID badge etc. this way we can keep track of whose there and who shouldn't be there etc.

many religions won't publish any official information
but many scholars believe that Jesus was married to
Mary Magdalain. Not only that but several religions also
believe in a "holy mother".

Now... I am not talking about the Da Vinci code which
was MOSTLY a work of fiction.. although they do touch
on certain points of topic.

Do you think that Jesus was married.. and furthermore
do you think they bore any children??

again.. I just want opinion and NOT any Bible quotes.

Let's say hypothetically that someone puts poison in the wafers before the 'miracle' takes place and the wafer becomes the literal body of christ (according to the RCC) how many people will survive. None I would say.
Or lets say a crumb falls to the ground (some churches used to have a catcher standing by for this purpose - not sure if they still do) and ends up in the vaccuum cleaner. Will the body of christ be put out in the trash.

Not meaning to be rude but this really seems to be a silly doctrine and another one that scripture doesn't back up.

It is also to note that the RCC doesn't recognise miracles taking place unless you are a saint according to them. We know that not all the priests are classified as saints according to them but yet they are supposed to be performing this 'miracle' everydday.

So how is this doctine true and where did you get this from?

I have been to both the Mayan ruins and the pyramids of Egypt. The Egyptian pyramids look nothing like the Mayan pyramids nor does Mayan art look anything like Egyption art, and the decendants of the Mayan do not look arab? How could they posssibly be from the lost tribe. (Ethiopia is thought to also be where the lost tribe went)

THE WORD: SENTENCE- I was reading and studying the word the other day and when I was looking something up in the concordance I seen the word “sentence” in the description. At that point the Lord impressed upon me more about the word “sentence”. The word “sentence” defined as: A group of organized words that expresses a complete thought. We also use the word sentence in the case of when someone is convicted of a crime and a sentence or judgment is passed determining the individuals punishment for the crime he or she has committed. The Lord revealed to me that every time we speak we are making sentences. Not just in the sense of forming a group of words conveying a complete thought, but in the sense of passing judgments on someone or something whether they be good or bad depending on their content. Everything we say conveys life or death sentences. When God said: I set before you cursing and blessing, death and life, choose life. He was not just referring to actions, but what we say also
