anothergu - I know it works. When you accept God's beloved son, you are entering into a special relationship with God.
That does not mean everybody else is going to hell. Everybody will be judged
rightly, according to their heart, mind, and life. There are different levels of not only punishment but of reward also. For example, a person who failed to receive Christ may not go to hell, but will not experience glory like those who did, in the world to come. Or Christ's kingdom here on Earth.

Why should I believe that? Because you say so? Because a thousand year old book says so? Why assume that everyone's sins make them worthy of eternal damnation? Does every crime carry a life sentence? And why should anyone have their sins forgiven because someone else suffered for it? Don't you think that people should be held accountable for their actions? People can also believe in God and not be Christian.

I defy anyone to show me any logical argument for why I should take those beliefs (and sorry, but the gambler's argument doesn't work. Saying that you believe just in case something is true is not really believing.)

Do you understand that what your saying sounds ridiculously ignorant. Why would God need to take human form and die for our sins. Isn't God the one who determines what is sinful and what isn't? On judgment day wont God be the one who decides whether you go to Heaven or Hell? Are you saying that before Jesus died,God was unable to forgive a persons sins even if he wanted to. If a person spends their whole life murdering and torturing children and repents on his deathbed then God would have no choice and would have to let him into Heaven? I don't understand how people can trick themselves into believing such nonsense.

Amen brother, Jesus came, took sin on Him and died on the cross with it. We only have to believe in Him and the price He paid to take our sins away and we instantly have eternal life. Isnt that the greatest gift ever?

i believe, god is the creator of all human beings wether alive or dead. and we are placed in a relativity world; it means we can't think, imagine or function beyond our relativity boundary. we are born for a purpose. naturally every newly-born human possess all the beautiful adjectives and grand title. and afterwards they began to misfunction; committing crimes and atrocities all around the world. prophets and imams, they are all infallible human. it doesn't make sense what you are talking about. they are sent to guide you to the right path. i believe jesus (peace be upon him) did his best to guide us to the right path and in fact, victimized for us but that doesn't mean that he cleaned all our shits. i accept jesus to the point of prophets and infallible human. that's all.
let me tell you something in general; god is mortal. he is not born and doesn't have any children. he is the king of all. if he had children, he could have more or at least one girl or three sons. as you think, he is confined himself to having only one child. this is all wrong. i appreciate your beliefs and faith. but you have to contemplate and think over it for a minute. many of us accepted relegions without studying or because of our ancestors and parents. in the words of infallible prophets; even jesus, he says that don't folllow any relegion without understanding or research. every relegion should have three principles; 1, to have a comprehensive rules for your social, economical, other fields.
2. recognition of bad things from good things.
3. comprehending human values; peace, security, respect and moral tips.

No. Convince me. Write an essay of no less than 300 000 words and post it here, and I might think about it. And remember, if you don't do it, I won't think about it, and you will be guilty before god for one lost soul that you didn't fight for.
Come to think of it, I have no sins anyway, only Christians sin.
