why are there so many people who say they believe in God but they do not take time out for God and attend church. i wonder what they would do in a time of need if God didnt listen to their prayers. i believe it is the least we can do
to go and worship once or twice or even three times a week.

I have heard all the stereotypes about Mormons, that they are crazy. Why would people get that idea? Serious answers, no ignorance or stupidity or I'll report it.

From the ceiling I was watching a circle of people as they were beginning to pray and suddenly this angel with black wings came out of the circle of peeople and began to fly towards me trying to catch me. I began to fly up and away from it and made it to a safe place where me and my youngest daugther who is 11 yrs old felt ok. Then I was ready to come back down with her and told her to hang on to me and remember to place her feet on the pedestal were both of us will use to come back down to earth.
I Don't remember any more.

Does anyone know what this is about?

Thanks

Christians believe that the Holy Bible is God's inspired Word for mankind .

Muslims believe that the Holy Quran is Allah's word for mankind.

Who is right ? Don't be too quick to answer.

I know Muslims will come forward and say Islam is the only true religion.

Christians will say Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

That makes Muhamad a liar and a false prophet.

Muslims say there is no such thing as son of God for God has no son.

So the Bible is false because the Quran is the true word of God.

I personally find it strange that Quran must go to great lenghts to disprove Christianity and mention about Jews and Christians quite a fair bit in the Koran: mostly not good things, though.

False, true, true, false...........

My proposal is that Christians leave Muslims alone and Muslims leave Christians alone.

Go and share your faith with others who are not of such strongly opposing views. Perhaps we'll have more peace.

Agree ?

theologians and writers say that whatever was written about Abraham was penned only about 6 to 700 years after his life ended. (thats if such a person known as abraham ever existed). now as these writers suggest, how can any thinking person, religious or not take this story of abraham as a literal and historical truth when the gap between his death and the actual writings about his life story creates such a huge unbridgeable gap?

You must first understand that it is nothing personal. Playing the victim is always the easy thing to do, but that does not always make it right.

1) Do not tell people they will go to hell if they are not Christians, this is no way to get people to look at your religion under a good light.

2) Do not go in other religions threads and try to convert people.

3) Do not declare your religion as absolute truth, even the most stubborn person must realize that there is no absolute truth in religion at this time.

With the prinicples in mind you can begin the CHANGE!!

I am a huge, huge, fan of Orlando Bloom! I love him, some days more than my own boyfriend, and as an active member of his fan club, I plan on watching every movie he makes. Well, with my walk with God, and to be a perfect Christain, is it wrong for me to lust after Orlando Bloom like I do? Is this considered lust? Should I put aside my love for Orlando Bloom?

Many of my Muslim friends claim that Islam was the first religion/movement to cry out to end slavery, yet I found many prophetic statements told by prophet Muhammad that support slavery. Prophet Muhammad himself used to have many slaves, including at least TWO concubines (sex slaves).

Also, I could not find any single verse in the Quran that orders people to end slavery. Furthermore, Saudi Arabiya (the country where Islam was born) was among the latest countries to end slavery (officially ended in 1962).

Does nayone have any explanation for the contradiction?
