Christians believe that the Holy Bible is God's inspired Word for mankind .

Muslims believe that the Holy Quran is Allah's word for mankind.

Who is right ? Don't be too quick to answer.

I know Muslims will come forward and say Islam is the only true religion.

Christians will say Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

That makes Muhamad a liar and a false prophet.

Muslims say there is no such thing as son of God for God has no son.

So the Bible is false because the Quran is the true word of God.

I personally find it strange that Quran must go to great lenghts to disprove Christianity and mention about Jews and Christians quite a fair bit in the Koran: mostly not good things, though.

False, true, true, false...........

My proposal is that Christians leave Muslims alone and Muslims leave Christians alone.

Go and share your faith with others who are not of such strongly opposing views. Perhaps we'll have more peace.

Agree ?

Joy to the world!

Both are wrong. People should leave both books alone and study science.

Knocking on doors and preaching isn't what is calling all the chaos, it's nationalism, racism, bigotry, and a fight over some rocky land in the middle east. Your right about anybody can claim that their religion or holy book is the correct one

I myself didn't use to care anything for religion or spirituality. However, with all the problems in the world , i needed answers and the Bible answers them for me. Jesus not only taught many powerful principles that help us to be better people but He also explained many of the things that make us bad and also prophesied about the about the signs to look for in the last days.
Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.
The apostle Paul followed this up with more explanations and prophecies such as those at Romans 1; 21- 37 and 2 Timothy 3; 1- 5.
The biggest problem is that many of the people who claim to be Christ's followers are the ones that do so many bad things to others. Their actions and those of the Jews and the Moslems when they become violent is forewarned at John 16; 2 and 3.

It is stated in the Qur'an that the book was given to Moses(pbuh) and was followed with a succession of messengers. Jesus(pbuh) the son of Mary(pbuh) was given clear signs and was strengthened with the holy spirit. For the Arabs a similar favour was received in a Messenger of their own to rehearse the signs and to instruct in the Scripture and Wisdom and new Knowledge. Now the Bible does have various versions so which one is the actual word sent down? And if they were to all be destroyed which version would be the one that was brought back? As far as the Qur'an goes every one is the same and if they were to be destroyed there are scholars all around the world that have it memorized word for word. Either way you look at it, I think they were both sent by God as well as the Torah for the Jewish because all three are mentioned in the Qur'an. As far as Jesus(pbuh) is concerned, did He ever say He was God? Muslims believe he is a prophet of God because there is only one God. That is the reason you will never see any pictures or representations of the prophet Muhammad(pbuh) because it is forbidden to worship anyone but God. In any case I am sure we can agree that we were all created by God so why can't we just live and let live?

Consider this:

The Prophets that were really from God would utter and do with consistency according as it was told them by God. All the prophets of the Old Testament would always speak of one Divine will and designs for God's people, the same religious and moral preaching, and the same prophetic predictions of how God would deal with His people and the sinful nations. And the same Prophets, after their exhortation, would lead God's people to the true Divine Worship - the culmination of their preaching and teaching: they offered physical sacrifice (oblation) according to the rite passed on from Moses. Now, the Lord Jesus Christ, Whom the Moslems believe also to be a prophet of the true God, abolished the offerings of the Mosaic and Levitical Worship but He replaced them with His own body on the cross. "Christ, being come an high priest of the good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hand, that is, not of this creation: Neither by the blood of goats, or of calves, but by his own blood..." (Heb 9.11,12).

On the other hand, the prophets in the Quran were prophets of contradiction. Considering the last criterion above and the fact that the Moslems do not perform any oblation, much more an oblation offered according to the Mosaic and Levitical rite, it would boil down to this: either the OT Prophets (who wrote the other portions of the Old Testament of the Sacred Scriptures) or the Prophet Mohammed alone is the only true divine oracle.

Both are wrong. Both of them are works of humans, not the creation of a supernatural being such as God, Yahweh, or Allah (all words for the same thing). Both Jesus and Mohammad were human, and neither had any special access to the Ultimate reality, any more than you or I. People need to turn away from the Bible or the Quran as a sole source of wisdom and look at the many other sources of wisdom - Tao te Cheng, Shakespeare's works, Newton's theory of gravitation, Mohandas Gandhi's theories of civil disobediance, Goethe's literature and so forth.

The Bible and Quran are correct in places but neither have all the answers. Look elsewhere and you will learn a lot.

THE BOOK OF THE HOLY
GOD
(AL-QURAN)

The Revelation___ revealed to the Prophet__ is Al-Quran. The contents whereof are, doubtlessly, truthful. It is a living Scripture__ which provides instant guidance__ for every problem. Whosoever is desirous to seek guidance to the Straight Path___ he should, immediately, consult this Scripture. Manner of consultation is, however highly important.

The person who is desirous to consult the Holy Quran__ should be at first__ in a neat and clean condition___ like those of the pious-ones. Then, he should sit in solitude__ and solemnly pronounce:-

“I take refuge in my Lord, One and Alone God of all, against Satan and his trickery. O’Lord, You are the Beneficent and the Merciful and the Almighty God. Lead me towards the Right path, the path of those whom you blessed, not of those, whom you cursed.”

The followers of Jesus__ should positively recognize them __ and their mission__ the both__ as that is the standing demand from Jesus, himself__ in terms of his prayer on the cross__ the psalm-22.

Bible facts
1. Muslims will often state that the Koran has never been altered and is still in its original form. In Ron Rhode's book, 'Reasoning from the Scriptures', he says the following:
"However, historical sources prove there were several differing texts circulating in Syria, Armenia and Iraq prior to the final revision produced by Uthman. Muhammad's long-time secretary, Zaid, was called in by Uthman to oversee the final and definitive authorised version of the Koran. All other copies of the Koran were then burned so there could be no challenge to the authorised text. Why would Caliph Uthman produce an authorised version of the Koran if the Koran had been perfectly preserved from the beginning?"

The Psalmist, probably King David, said the following: "Your Word is true from the beginning" (Ps. 119:160.)
The Scripture has continually proven to be 100% accurate, i.e., with archaeological digs, which are also recognised by extra-biblical accounts. Numerous scholars (secular and religious) affirm that the Bible, as we have it today, is 99.9% accurate when translated or revised.
Peter Ruckman says the following about this:
"The Koran had only one writer, completing his work in less than thirty years, whereas the Bible had over forty writers writing two thousand years apart and writing on three continents. Collusion between the various writers of the Bible would be impossible; collusion between Mohammed and himself would certainly be a possibility, one will have to admit" ('The History of the New Testament Church', Vol. 1, pg. 319.)
The reader may also be interested to know that there are no manuscripts for the Koran whatsoever? Therefore this means that there is no way to date, authenticate, or reconstruct the Koran.
FACT we know that if all 5,664 Greek New Testament manuscripts, and 20,000 Latin, Ethiopic, Slavic, and Armenian New Testament manuscripts were lost, we could still rebuild the Bible, with the 85,000 Scriptural verses that the early Church fathers sent to one another. In their letters they quote every passage in the New Testament, except for 8 verses. However, the same cannot be said of other so-called holy books, i.e., the Koran etc.
I must also share with the reader the fact that it took over a hundred years after the death of Mohammed for the Koran to be written. Yet on the other hand, the whole of the New Testament was written between 45-65AD, only 35 years after Jesus had died (with the exception of the Book of Revelation), which was written 60 years after the Lord had ascended.
One final comment must be said about authenticating Muhammad and his Koran: when Muhammad claimed to have meet with Allah in a cave, there were no witnesses present to affirm this, therefore his prophetic claim is impossible to validate. And with no public miracles either to certify his office as prophet, why should anybody then or now take him seriously?
The Bible, therefore, is completely in a league of its own (Rom. 1:2). No other Book has inspired multitudes of missionaries to travel thousands of miles and even sacrifice their own lives, for the good of God's Kingdom!

Interesting.

I actually think there needs to be more dialogue between Muslims and Christians. There are actually a lot of similarities, and we have a lot of the same prophets and allegories. We should really focus on what we have in common, basic morals and values.

properly, with the exception of a few names and places, the life of which will be proven, the Bible is not any extra "authentic" than the e book of Mormon. both works contain non secular assertions that are literally not subsidized up through any self sustaining evidentiary help. at the same time as human beings say they believe interior the Bible's or the e book of Mormon's claims, they're basically expressing own convictions, no longer conception in holding with purpose info. operating example, no human being can tutor through the Bible that there is entirely one heaven, or perhaps any heaven in any respect. notwithstanding, i'll communicate about that the right call of the Mormon Church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints." on condition that Jesus is interior the call of their church and they absolutely do count on him, you are able to't declare they don't look to be Christians. they basically have a diverse tackle Christianity, in holding with their conception that Joseph Smith further to it through distinctive feature of divine revelation. and considering that countless communities have had countless takes on Christianity over the centuries (you should examine what lots of the earliest, Gnostic Christians idea), i do not imagine you are able to brush aside Mormons as "non-Christian". they're basically no longer mainstream, classic Christians. My view has continually been that Mormonism is not any extra odd than any faith, which consists of mainstream Christianity. i'm sorry, yet you are able to't use use Bible verses to "tutor" something. What you are able to do is detect Bible verses to contradict Mormonism -- to reveal the position classic Christianity and Mormonism are in conflict. to attempt this, notwithstanding, you've gotten to have examine both the Bible and the e book of Mormon thoroughly. As a homework undertaking, it really is a marginally exciting one, notwithstanding that's as a lot as you to do the reading and the paintings.

I think that studying all major religions and spiritual paths, meaning to learn about similarities and differences, should be required right along with history. They intertwine and influence each other.

Neither is all right or all wrong...
