You must first understand that it is nothing personal. Playing the victim is always the easy thing to do, but that does not always make it right.
1) Do not tell people they will go to hell if they are not Christians, this is no way to get people to look at your religion under a good light.
2) Do not go in other religions threads and try to convert people.
3) Do not declare your religion as absolute truth, even the most stubborn person must realize that there is no absolute truth in religion at this time.
With the prinicples in mind you can begin the CHANGE!!

well how about this for atheists? if you want christians to be quieter:
1. stop calling christians names, mocking their beliefs, and outlawing any mention of their faith. also, stop suspending elementary school kids that pray quietly to themselves in school.
2. stop producing late night tv shows and movies that take jabs at christians and poke fun at Jesus Christ. we don't like that. we also don't like tax funded "art" that desecrates our figures by dunking them in urine or smearing them with feces.
3. YOU stop trying to convert christians by using "science" as a substitute for God's existence.

well, nice try but the Fundy type Christian will not appreciate your efforts. ONLY they know THE Truth and they're not gonna give up their special position in life just to be polite. they're right and everyone else is wrong and going to hell and that's that. the egos of Fundy Christians are soooooooo huge that they will not, can not tolerate the views of others, will not, can not respect others. they're the ones that are gonna be sitting in golden thrones next to Jesus wearing jewel encrusted crowns and be co rulers of the new Earth. if you think they'll come down off their preordained thrones for even a moment to consider your advice it just goes to show how Satan deceives you.
and the more rude they are ... the more hostility they invoke ... the more hostility they invoke ... the more righteous they are. see how that works? by pissing people off by being pushy, intolerant, self righteous egotistical anal orifices they fulfill one of Jesus' prophecies. convenient. huh?
PS. besides, they don't want any help. they imagine they fulfill prophesy by alienating folks and pissing them off. they LOVE being "persecuted". getting a negative reaction to their religious spewings confirms their faith in their own holiness.
