many religions won't publish any official information
but many scholars believe that Jesus was married to
Mary Magdalain. Not only that but several religions also
believe in a "holy mother".

Now... I am not talking about the Da Vinci code which
was MOSTLY a work of fiction.. although they do touch
on certain points of topic.

Do you think that Jesus was married.. and furthermore
do you think they bore any children??

again.. I just want opinion and NOT any Bible quotes.

Yes i do believe that Jesus married Mary and bore children with her. Also there is a Mother God, read Genesis 1;26-27. It states " And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness.

You said "again.. I just want opinion and NOT any Bible quotes". You're asking a historical question. What is history? It's written records of the past. What better written records could you have than the writers of the New Testament who were there on the scene? They never mentioned Him being married. If not them, surely the church fathers in the 1st century would have mentioned it. But they don't.
You said, "but many scholars believe that Jesus was married to
Mary Magdalain". But what do those scholars base that on........surely nothing that was written before 150AD. I assume that you're talking about the Gnostic gospels. They were all written from 150 to 400AD. Why would I accept them over the New Testament writers who were on the scene and the church fathers who came in the 1st century. Anyway, I don't know of any gnostic gospel that comes close to saying that Jesus was married to Mary or anyone else no less that He had children. Scholars can say anything. The New Testament writers were on the scene. They were either primary source evidence(eyewitnesses) or secondary source evidence(they received from an eyewitness). Up pops a so-called "scholar" with a phD, 2000 years later and says "forget what the eyewitnesses said, I'll tell you what really happened". I've never seen one schred of evidence that Jesus was married or had any kids. I'm not sure that would effect the bible theologically. The bible certainly is for marraige. But the real evidence says that He never married.

As has been pointed out in the answers to other questions around this point, was Jesus married.
Jesus followed Jewish Law
Jesus was Jewish
At the time of his death he was about 33
Most Christians contend that Jesus was straight
Prophets in the OT were married and still prophesied.

So what we have is a straight Jewish male, 33 years old who keeps kosher. Married, more than likely.

I find it funny that people say there is nothing wrong with sex but will say that it isn't possible that Jesus could have been married and possibly had children. If Jesus was the "Son of God" then he would always be a fit sacrifice as long as he kept the Law.

Just because someone is a virgin doesn't mean they are a perfect sacrifice. Folks have been watching way too many volcano God movies.

And for the record, none of the books in the NT were written while Jesus was reported to have been alive. The earliest are said to have been written 40 years after.

Would it matter if he were? Most holy men of that time were married. Why is it considered an abomination to think that Jesus was married and, to put it delicately, knew the touch of a woman? Are marriage and sex so awful? When one reads the gospels, it certainly doesn't tell every piece of information about Jesus' life; why would it?

For what it's worth, I'm not convinced Jesus lived in the first place. This isn't the place to get into it too deeply, but if you're curious to learn more, you can start here: http://www.jesusneverexisted.com/

The only gospels that suggest that Jesus was married were written hundreds of years after Jesus ascended into heaven. But the true gospel which can be found in the bible were written within Jesus lifetime.

For Mary to be a mother of God, that would make her be the mother of the Father who is the Father of Jesus. If you understand trinity, how can Mary be the mother of God? There are three parts to God The Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit. All three are different people, but all three together make one God.

well, it depends. was Jesus a rabbi? if so then it would be required by Hebrew law that he be married and have children.

http://www.religionfacts.com/judaism/cycle/marriage.htm

Marriage is highly revered and strongly encouraged in Judaism. The celibate life has never been considered more holy than the married life, and one must be married in order to become a rabbi. Judaism's high view of marriage is a direct result of its view of the home and family as the center of religious life.

Absolutely Not! Da Vinci is not a guy who I would like to think as creditable. In other words: I think Da Vinci was a compulsive liar!
