Hi everyone. So I wanted to know what you guys know, either from the bible, the Torah or the Quran about Gigiant People and animals, as well as how long some of the early people lived?

Does it seem like all religions have basically the same story line...I mean....every religion has an all powerful being, and people under them to pass along thier will....God, Angels, Jesus, profits.....Allah, Mohommad......Zues, all the gods under him....to me it just seems that at one time there was one religion and then man decided that it was not right and started to change things....every religious book and story that we know today was written by man....and you all know what people do when they retell a story.....so..whos to say which is right and wrong...and what really happened...to me that is only something we will know when we die.....and really see what becomes of us.....no don't get me wrong...I believe in god....everything has to start somewhere.....but who is to say that christians are right and Muslims are wrong,....a book written by people....someone who talked to god....we call people who say god talked to them crazy now....what the differance from them to moses.....

Ok, so i grew up catholic and havent been to church in years, i miss going but moved from my old church a long time ago, i dont particularly believe exactly with the catholic churches views, and have had a lot of thinking done as iv grown up.......to jump ahead to my question, im looking for church that teaches from the bible but doesnt take it literally, i dont mean pick and choose what we want to do out of it, but a church that doesnt think being gay is wrong, that doesnt think that stoning a child when it out of line is right, just because the bible directs to do so...i think the bible is a great book of stories and lessons, but i dont have enough faith in man to think it hasnt been altered over the years by personal beliefs....so if someone could tell me what im looking for or any information about what im suggesting, that wuld be wonderful.....thanx a bunch....

What you think is going to happen if you actually listen to the Gospel of Jesus and really accept it. Why are some afraid? Or are you just really against God? What do you have to lose? I know that becoming a born again christian there has to be a repentent heart- so I dont mean just saying the words "I love you Jesus please set me free from sin and come into my life" --I mean if you were to really TRUST Jesus has died on the cross for you and you were to cry out to him for salvation- do you know what will happen? You will be saved! The thing is, you have nothing to lose and EVERYTHING TO GAIN. So I would just like to know.....is there something you think you will lose? Because the only thing you will lose is bondage of sin and Hell- and you will gain a clean heart, heaven and peace and joy in Jesus Christ -the Holy Spirit who will lead you into all truth....Or do you just really not care? I am being honest- I am not condemning anyone or trying to push you- I just really want to know...

I think this is acceptable except that hell is not the way christians envision.

I know your faulty reasoning. That the Rapture will come first,
and when Jesus comes with the army of heaven, thats the Second
Coming.
And I've read all the verses they say back that up, and they don't back it up! They prove they are one and the same!
Doesn't this go along with what some of us were asking this morning? Aren't most Christians, Christian, because they think
they are going to get out of something? And they are going
to FALL OUT when they find out they are going to suffer?

Why is it that the Turkish Government has stopped any excursions to the top of Mount Ararat where Noah's Ark is said to be and pictures taken of it, and whay is it that the Muslim Leaders have stopped excurions under the temple mount where the Arc of the Covenant is believed to be? i am trying 2 convience my parents that jesus or god is not real i try 2 like tell her that we did not know anything before we were born we wont know anything after we die she is wasting her time at church and praying and the church is having bad times like money troubles and im trying 2 tell her that if god was real that wouldnt happen they could pray and bam they would have money but she still wont believe me what can i do
