Most know that. But for friends out there that do not understand the Trinity, help me to give definition to God The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit - One GOD 3 persons.

Will you reply with your understanding?

My diocese's 4th Day Community is desperate right now for skits to perform. Even the regular skit performers are running out of ideas. All skits must be centered around Christianity, and they must be funny and short. The funnier the better.
If you can give me a good website that would help as well...I have been searching for a few days and haven't found much that is doable.

I saw a question yesterday about this subject. A person claimed Jesus spoke of reincarnation. But the verse they cited was vague. I have never gotten the impression Jesus taught this concept. I feel pretty strongly that he didn't. Is this wishful thinking on some people's part?

Over a year ago i had cheated on my husband. I was not saved at the time and had not trusted in the lord. About 4mts ago i confessed my sins to the lord and asked to be saved and prayed that i may live my life in a way that would glorify god. Since i confessed to god i feel he will punish me for what i've done. I don't know if i should confess to my husband. It will ruin our marriage and we have 2 babies. is confessing to god good enough?

It seems to me, that most of the people I discuss religion with, express many doubts about their faiths (or at least admit there is a possibility they are wrong). Even many Atheists would admit that a God-like being is a possibility (however unlikely). Does this mean that most of us are actually Agnostic leaning toward one way? I apologize if this seems disrespectful to anyone. I am honestly asking, not trying to make a point.

((I posted this question recently but was told responses had been removed.))

Christian fundamentalists use scientific discoveries every single day. Can they justify this when the bible says that science threatens faith?

6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: 6:21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

Please bear with me, Im trying to say this as clearly as i can, I have no intention of upsetting anyone, or badmouthing, or blaspheming, and I am trying to find the words to clearly express my question.

Ok. I have noticed that, when confronted with Darwins theory of Evolution, Christians (not all, but the majority) say that they are not monkeys.

Right. I know that you are not monkeys. Thats not what Darwin theory is about. It is about all of us evolving from 'single celled organisms', not monkeys. I know the story about how Eve was formed from Adams rib, and you will believe that, yet you think the idea of you evolving from a single celled organism is outrageous.

Why cant we merge the two? God create the single cell organism and watched us grow into what we are now and what we will become?

I was just wondring why Christians (not all, but the majority) think that Darwin theory said we evolve from monkeys when it was a single cell organism that could have been created by god

The explanations at
http://www.suite101.com/lesson.cfm/18770...
show the issue. I am not able answer someone who explained: "Raama could have negotiated with Vaali and Sugriva for a compromise. But then, for mere compromise, he would not have gotten the help he needed to retrieve Sita. Thats why he wanted to bind Sugriva in an enormous obligation and so killed Vaali. Since he knew Vaali was stronger, Raama even resorted to a cowardly act."

According to some religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam), God spoke directly to a select few, whom He chose to be His prophets to spread His word. God is omnipresent and omnipotent, so why wouldn't He use His all-encompassing power to send His message directly to everyone, rather than to a select few?

I am really struggling with the whole Ted Haggard thing. Shouldn't Pastors and Priest be held to a higher standard? I know we are all human but how can we listen to a follower of Christ who commits such blasphemy? These are the things that make others call us hypocrites; he just took all of us one step back in the minds of the secular world. He has caused so much damage. How can I get past this?
