It is not enough to SAY that He is Lord; we need to try to follow Him as LORD.

What is the will of His Father in heaven?
Well, read the N.T., find out what the Father's Will is.

It is not enough that we call Him Lord; we need to BELIEVE on Jesus Christ, Whom the Father sent into the World.

believing in god is not enough to enter the kingdom of heaven. Satan "believed" in god. The will of the father is to be reborn in the spirit and to accept the gift of salvation that he has laid before you...those are the ones who enter into heaven

Some people want to say they are Christians, but in reality they are not because though they call Him "Lord" they do not in rfeality treat Him as Lord... To make JEsus Lord... means to put Him in charge of your life... and do what he says.. He calls the shots, not you. So if you do not do the will of God, you are not listening to him or making Him Lord.

It means that when your about to die and you realize that you might go to hell(you killed someone, molested a child, etc) you can't just decide to "repent" and cry to God for forgiveness. You have to live by "God's will" right up until the end to go to heaven. That's my guess anyway. *shrug*

That is one should live in faith and not in sin. Faith is the conviction of things unseen and the awareness what is hoped for. Fear what is inside of you than what is outside. That is you should always search for God's will in your life and that is through faith which again circulantly lead you to the top verse. God bless you.
