If the Father, the Holy Sipirt and Jesus are all Gods should there be 3 different prayers one for each? Why all prophets before Jesus asked there people to worship God alone? If Jesus is the one who taught Christians how to pray, then who taught Christians to pray by making the cross sign? If the cross is the sculpture that Jesus suffered on and crussified, shouldn't Christians hate it rather than take it as a symbol? Who created the univers? If Jesus Christ is the son of God and his name is Jesus Christ what is the Father's name? Being the mother of God is virgin marry a God too? What about Her parents are they Gods too or humans? Did Jesus Christ eat? Sleep? Work to get food? If human beings wouldn't let any one hurt or humilate them in anyway, how God All MIGHTY allowed earthly people to crussify him?

If a very religious and spiritual man came to you and told you I talked to God, he took the form of a Burning Bush, would you believe? Or would you think he was Burning some Bush? Why is it that one believes age old scriptures that say Moses spoke to God, God who took this certain form. Yet if this scenerio happened in this day and age, the only time anyone would anyone would listen to the person would be when they are in a restraining jacket, in a padded room, in an nut house, but why? Is it that today no one can be spiritual as Moses was then, or is this world full of blind conviction.

In Verse 4: Even though I walk

your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

What do you think was meant by the rod and staff comforting the author. I know that the staff would relate to God being the good shepherd that uses the staff to bring a sheep back to safety.

In your opinion, how does a rod comfort the writer? How does the staff comfort the writer?

So I don't really know if you are allowed to do this here. and if not please don’t report just let me know and I will remove ASAP. So anyway I just got back from visiting from Grandparents out of state and a few years ago my grandma started making these things called Ukrainian eggs pysanky. I wanted to know if these are something people are interested in and how I could help here out. I am currently building a website for her, have not gotten it up yet. I posted a add on craigslist but have not gotten a single response anyway I just want some advice. anything will help. Believe it or not there is nothing in this for me just wanna help out my Grandparents. How do we know we were created in his own image? Just by word of mouth, because Jesus said so, but how do we know Jesus was God's son? Because he said so, or others said so? Because the bible says so?

If I commit a sin and I go to a catholic priest, and ask him for forgiveness, am I forgiven in the eyes of the lord, even if I don't really mean it? (i.e. Coveting something)?
If I do really mean it and I AM repentant, then whats the point of visiting a priest? Surley God knows if I am worthy or not and its not like the Priest is keeping score, as its meant to be private and annonymous anyway?

I always thought this was a bizarre thing to do and i could never work out why my parents made me go every month as a child to tell someone that I had said a sweary word 5 times and stole 10pence of my sister. (something else I wasn't sorry about, I can tell you that!).

My friend who is 38 never had much luck with the ladies, but since the first of this month, he has gone from a zero, to women that know him starting to grin and blush, then first time to ladies night in years got an unpresadented 10 dances and two kisses.

the day after that he ran into a woman he never met before, in of all places a book store! and got her number! the next evening she asked him out!

He swears he cast no spell, but had been thinking about doing on to get noticed. his only holdback being the law of three.

is it possible someone else put a spell on him, (I know that the universe extracts a price for useing magic) or did he think about doing a spell so hard that the intention made things change without his realizing it?

Discussions on Y!A tend toward asserting one opinion as wholy correct and the other wholy incorrect. This goes for Christianity v. Islam, Atheist v. Theist, Episcopalian v. Baptist, joking responses v. serious responses.

Please shed light on the Gospels?

The crucifixion is estimated to have taken place around 33 AD.

The Gospels were written approximately between 40 A.D. to as late as 140 A.D.

So without any type of recording devise or even a note pad how did any one person remember ever word Jesus uttered?

Most people can not even tell a story word for word an hour later let alone years later….

When the words were documented they were at best slightly misquoted… then after going through numerous translations they continue to lose meaning…..

Also there is not much history on Mathew, Mark, Luke or John anywhere so how do we know they were legit?

Are you misusing His name when you say "Oh my God!"
or does it mean when you say "I swear to God!" or is it when you use God as an excuse or a scapegoat for you behavior? How about when you tell someone that God will send them to hell?
