I have often come across this same thought until I read over my sentence. The sentence implied a period in the group of words used and I did not put the period at the end. this was for my own personal writing style. most likely because the period for me anyway, represents a "stop" sign, and most people have not learned the value of either.The period or the stop word.

I've actually given this some thought. For me, it's a moot point; my real issue is forgetting a double space after the period. When I don't use a period, it's because I'm fully conscious that I don't know what the rule is for punctuation; in that case, the lack of a period would mean I got "tails".

Always good to use proper punctuation like using the period at end of sentence

Punctuation is the white mans way of confusing people of color and trying to make them adhere to a system of scripting that was intvented by the white man so as to attempt to convert said people into conformation of culturally offensive and systematic defiling

No, that's what you use an ellipsis for...
Forgetting the period (or 'full stop' as we call them here) just makes you seem lazy.
