Is George Bush a Christian?
Is the Pope a Nazi?

Christianity is, by necessity, a social entity. He is a Christian if, and only if, other Christians say he is. Forget his theology or his public statements; one can believe in and follow Jesus without being one with "the faith". The deciding factor is whether he is considered a member by its main body.

Not being one of their number, I couldn't possibly give a concrete answer, though I suspect the President's Christianity has been gradually stripped from him over the last 6 years.

I doubt it.
I thought so at first but noticed a few questionable attributes:

He uses foul language on occasion.

He demogogues the issues of border security and abortion while doing nothing about them in reality (lies).

Would a Christian chip away at the constitution via The Patriot Act, torture and illegal wiretaps?

He refers to God as "the Almighty". This can have hidden meanings.

I've never heard him openly profess acceptance of Jesus Christ.

He was a member of Skull and Bones - an occultic society.

Finally, He follows the illuminati plans to a T. Any Christian would put up some resistance and probably wouldn't last very long.

He says so. But don't forget, actions speak louder than words. I've seen little Christianity emanating from the White House during his reign - sorry term of office.

I would say yes, but I would also point out that he does not represent Christians as a whole. We're all responsible for our own actions individually.

Yes, he rededicated his life to the Lord in 1985 after a meeting with Rev. Billy Graham. Is he perfect, no, and neither is any other human. I like him and trust that he prays before making major decisions, but lets face it, we live in perilous times. The media has tried to discredit our president on every turn.

Possibly but a really lousy example of one if he is.

Christians are supposed to stop war, not start them! Jesus spoke against lying (WMDs, reason for starting the war), greed (oil) and murder (war)

i think people like him claim to be a christian in the hope that one day god will forgive their sins. I'm guessing that the god i like to believe in did not sacrifice himself so that his 'children' could perform mass genesie!!!!! (and i know thats spelt wrong!!!)
