I went to a goth convention, and as i was leaving a guy stopped me a brought me behind the biulding and showed me these skulls. I was drunk or something and bought one, i got home and boiled it. was this a bad idea? what should i do

Why did you boil it? I would say that it was a bad idea. I am just wondering if it was a human skull you bought. Those things are sort of like "alien urine" in the terms of picking out suckers to buy them, which is really not what it seems. If you have a human skull you need to go to the police station and turn it in, tell them the situation and let the handle it (and hope you did not break a law by boiling the thing)

Does it make you feel dirty and self conscious or does it make you feel strong and important. When looking at this skull remember it once was a living human being with feelings and family and hopes and dreams. Treat it with respect as you would another living human being. My suggestion would be to take it to a religious man and explain what you have done and see if you can give this person the peace and dignity they so deserve. Someday it might be your skull on top of someones night stand. How does that make you feel?

Im not sure what you should do. But the question is...do you remember who you bought it form because it is a little weird if you bought a human skull which obviously had some human remains left behind because you had to boil it. I don't know who you should contact but you should contact someone.

Let the police have a look. If the skulls have a number on them, they have been approved for sceintific use and other educational uses. Go to the cops, you wont get in trouble

I would have trouble sleeping at night if I had a human skull. I suggest you bury it in your local churchyard and forget about it.

Hmmm...I'd either bury or donate it. Just don't do anything in really poor taste, like use it as a pencil holder.
