Let me assure you Jesus never spoke of reincarnation. I commend you for realizing the verse someone cited was quoted out of context. The Bible makes it very clear that we only pass through this life once, and we do not return time after time. God puts us on earth for only a brief period of time, and then we enter eternity—either in heaven with God or else separated from Him in what the Bible calls hell. The Bible says, "Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment" (Hebrews 9:27).
Why is this important? For one thing, it means that our life right now is serious, because what we do with God now will determine our eternal destiny. We will not have a second chance; as the Bible says, "Now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2).
One reason some religions believe that we will return to this earth time after time is because they believe one life won't be long enough for us to purify ourselves from sin. But the Bible teaches that no matter how much time we have, we can never wash away our sins. Only God can do this—and this is what He made possible by sending His Son into the world to be our Savior. Christ did for us what we could never do for ourselves, and when we commit ourselves to Him, all our sins are forgiven.
I urge you to put your faith in Christ alone for your salvation. Then thank Him that when you die you will go to be with Him through all eternity. Christ alone is our hope of salvation, and I pray He may become your hope as well.

Well first of all wishful thinking ???? I have had 53 years of pain sadness and tears.I pray I do not have to come back.As for Jesus
to my memory no, however the Bible never says it out right but there does seem to be a lot of evidence to support the theory.Name changes Saul You will now be called Paul, also I do
not think people lived to be 986 years old and had 76 children God says " And His days were " I think that means reincarnation.

Jesus was an Essene rabbi. Essenes taught reincarnation. Jesus believed in and taught reincarnation, absolutely, but this was modified by the early church because reincarnation threatened their authority over the soul; it was considered a "mystery" which lay people were not entitled to know, then eventually as the early church got full of itself the doctrine of reincarnation was outlawed as heresy.

You lived before you had this body and you will live after it is gone. See matthew 17-10/13 V-10 why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? V-11 jesus answered,Elias trully shall first come V-12 but I say unto you, that Elias is come already, and they knew him not.V-13 Then the deciples understood that he spake unto them of john the baptist. You are the life that animates the body, See also matt.-13/15.

This has always been interesting to me. I personally do not believe in it but I do know that many Jews did then and still do. Plus, in the nt people told him that there were those who thought he was Jeremiah or one of the prophets, implying that he was one of them reincarnated. Interestingly, he never tells them that its a ridiculous notion.
