I converted to Islam, I like the fact that there are real answers to my questions, not just having to accept things on faith, I also like that I can find things in the Koran that are now known by science to be true, but that these things were not known at the time the Koran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammed(pbuh). This tells me that there was a higher power giving this message. I was raised Baptist, converted to a Mormon and still didn't find the peace and answers that I was seeking, that came only with Islam.

When I was a child I started out Pentecostal then family members saw discrepancies with the churches beliefs and the way they lived so I went to a baptist church for many years then I fell away because I knew things that the pastor did and it was not in conjunction with the bible. As a teenager I looked at several religions but I always found these big holes in what they were teaching and what the Bible said and what they were doing. So as an adult I started looking again and thats when I asked God to help me find the truth and he did. Shortly there after I started studying with Jehovah Witnesses and I was determined to prove them wrong as I had been exposed to religion and lies my whole life. But some thing happened , the more I dug into the bible to prove them wrong the more they proved what they taught was correct . I even studied the original languages to see if the were interpreting wrong again I was proven wrong. After ALOT of days and weeks and time and effort I realized that these people whom I detested at one time were on to something- they actually were speaking the truth about the bible and living it accordingly. I knew that this was the true religion that God spoke about in the bible.

I started out as a Christian and officially converted to Wicca in my late 20s. Everything about it made sense to me, whereas Christianity did not. It's balanced, peaceful, and asserts that the ability to change your life rests with you, not some being floating out in the cosmos somewhere. And it's a much more female-friendly religion, which is important when you're a strong, intelligent, independent woman.

I would for no reason whatsoever convert to a religion. I'm a very happy unbeliever, and that's here to stay in my life.

Money and sex or lack thereof. Religion is about manipulation and power. God has nothing to do with that. Religion is evil. You do not have to have religion to believe in God.
